Period 7

Family Trip

When I was 11 years old, my family
and I went on a trip to Hawaii for
my birthday. It was my first time on a
plane so I was nervous but more
excited. I got to sit by the window
and the view was amazing. We did
many things such as Parasailing,
scuba diving, zip lining, got on jet
skies and learned how to surf.
Going on this trip was probably the
most fun I've had in my life because I
got to spend time with people i
enjoy being with. This trip made me
become more grateful to have
family.

Passing of a loved one

On February 8, 2017 one of my uncles
passed away in a car crash. He was only
23 years old. When this happened I
realized that people could die at a
young age. I realized that life is too
short and you should enjoy every
moment of it. Ever since then, I try to
look at the bright side of things and
enjoy life. I was shook of how fast
your life could just end in a split
second. Every year on his birthday we
all get together and spend time with
each other. My grandma makes food
and we have fun. Then at the end of
the day we let some white balloons go
in the sky.

Global Pandemic

When we first got sent home from school, I
thought we were only gonna be gone from like
2 or 3 weeks but, it quickly became 6 months and
we are still not sure when we will me going back
to school this year.At first when the schools
shut down I was excited because I always wanted
to know what it felt like to be homeschooled.
The first week was good but then I started to get
behind on school work. I would get easily
distracted. It was boring just sitting at home
and really not being able to go out to eat or to
shop. As things got worse, everything shut down
and you were only allowed to go to the
grocery store and essential things. All the plans
me and my cousins had for the summer got
canceled. We were all super bummed because we
were looking forward to go.

First Day Of School

On my first day of school I
remember being super servouse. As I
walked in I sat at my desk and my
partner asked me what my name was.
She was the first person I ever
talked to at school and after I
started talking to her I was less
nervous. We played at recess and ate
lunch together. I don't remember
much after that but I know that i
had so much fun. This made me who
i am today because it showed me to
not be shy to talk to people.

My name is Keith Gonzalez. I was born on December 3rd 2006 in Bellflower.
Some of my favorite hobbies include baking, coloring, swimming and
learning ASL. My favorite color is red or green and I have 7 siblings. I like
spending time with my cousins on weekends. My favorite subject is science
and my least favorite in english and math. When I am older, I hope to
become a Cardiothoracic Surgeon.
