Message From KHOM MALAYSIA LeadershipDear donors and friends,2025 has been a year of challenges, growth, and remarkable development for all of us at KHOM MALAYSIA.From humble beginnings, KHOM MALAYSIA started with the simple effort of teaching my students about life — about empathy, struggle, and the power of taking action. As an educator, I taught the young generation that no act of kindness is too small, and that compassion recognises no age. You can be a giver through your energy, your presence, or your financial means. From that small classroom, we stepped up our efforts, formally established ourselves and now we have grown into a humanitarian organisation operating in seven countries, reaching millions of people whose lives have been touched by your generosity. This year, we witnessed some of the world’s most difficult chapters — the ongoing suffering in Gaza from the second year of the genocide through its fragile ceasefire, the slow rebuilding efforts of the Syrian people following liberation, and the struggles of Malaysians facing economic hardship. Yet, in every story, we found something extraordinary in common: resilience, determination, and unbreakable will.Despite the challenges faced by our team and volunteers, your prayers, support, and encouragement kept us moving forward. In 2025, KHOM MALAYSIA carried out two life-saving airdrops into Gaza, reaching areas completely cut off from aid, and dug water wells amidst bombardments to restore dignity, hygiene, and survival for thousands. In Syria, we continued distributing hundreds of water tanks, ensuring displaced families living in tents could access clean water. We entered our fourth year of the Karisma EduDream programme, giving orphans who had never seen a classroom or held a pencil, the chance to read, write, and dream again. In MALAYSIA, through the KHOM MediHope campaign, we provided critical medical equipment — hospital beds, wheelchairs, oxygen machines — easing the burdens of thousands of sick and underprivileged people. We stood by our army veterans, our national heroes, supporting them through their difficult years.Today, KHOM MALAYSIA stands stronger because of YOU — your trust, your belief in our work, and your unwavering compassion. We remain humbled to serve as the bridge between your generosity and the people whose lives it transforms. With your continued trust, we are ready to expand our outreach beyond the seven countries we serve today.Thank you for walking this journey with us. Together, we bring hope where hope is fading, and light where darkness persists.Nik Marina Datuk HussinChairlady and Mission Director of KHOM MALAYSIA“Today, KHOM MALAYSIA stands stronger because of YOU”

Water Well Project, Gaza The KHOM Water Well Project provides a lifeline for communities in Gaza facing severe water shortages. Despite operating under high-risk conditions, KHOM MALAYSIA successfully constructed water wells (boreholes), each serving thousands of people daily for drinking, sanitation, and cooking. These wells reduce the spread of waterborne diseases in overcrowded shelters and bring stability where water scarcity threatens survival. Above all, they symbolise hope, resilience, and the unwavering determination to save lives under fire.KHOM MALAYSIA constructed six water wells in high-risk areas of Gaza, providing clean water amid conflict and infrastructure collapse. In Gaza, our orphan sponsorships cover essentials such as food, clothing, school supplies, and medicine. This year, 119 newly orphaned children received urgent support, though thousands more await sponsorship. The KHOM Yatim Project provides food, education, healthcare, and emotional support to children who have lost parents due to conflict or hardship ensuring children receive consistent care.Education and Well-Being SupportWhy This Matters?Conflict and scarcity leave many orphans hungry, malnourished, and without access to basic needs. Direct aid restores dignity, hope, and security, giving children a chance to survive and thrive.KHOM MALAYSIA provides children with access to formal education, learning resources, and the support they need to heal and grow. Through education pathways like Karisma EduDream, children gain opportunities for learning, social development, and emotional healing. Many have progressed to universities, formal schools, and meaningful careers — powerful evidence of how compassion can transform a life.ConclusionThrough these humanitarian pillars, KHOM MALAYSIA delivers lifesaving relief, health support, education empowerment, and restored dignity — enabling vulnerable communities to survive, recover, and rebuild with hope.A Lifeline Under BombardmentsOngoing Needs:Many orphans remain on waiting lists, and KHOM MALAYSIA continues to call for sponsors and donations.KHOM MALAYSIA: 2025 Review | 11

Our Ongoing ProjectsKHOM MALAYSIA: 03Basic Needs Emergency ReliefFood, shelter, clothing, healthcare, and essential resources is a priority by nature and not by choice. For the poor and the oppressed, it is hard to meet the most basic needs. To ensure a person’s functioning, we must combat:It is only when we can meet the physiological and safety needs of a human being that we can achieve self-fulfilment at one’s highest potential.Community Kitchens and Food Security• KHOM MALAYSIA’s Dapur Karisma central kitchens provide regular hot meals for underprivileged families, refugees, and disaster-affected communities.• These kitchens also serve as training centers to teach cooking, food handling, and community nutrition skills.KHOM MALAYSIA deploys our team of volunteers to assist victims struck by an emergency by delivering the most needed essentials to affected areas. Why is it important?During disasters, families may lose their homes, belongings, and loved ones with little warning. Going Against The OddsJust when hope seemed near with the ceasefire in Gaza, in March, it was shattered within 60 days. All humanitarian routes closed, and our five truck-loads of aid were held back for months. Then, suddenly, after six long months, we received the news we had prayed for: On 28 July 2025, KHOM MALAYSIA’s aid joined the frontlines as part of a 60-truck humanitarian convoy, alongside the World Food Programme (WFP) under the United Nations and World Central Kitchen (WCK), delivering lifesaving support to the people of Gaza — a critical moment made possible by your generosity. This urgent, lifesaving moment reignited hope for the people of Gaza and for Malaysians waiting anxiously to see their contributions reach the ground.Despite the challenges, Malaysians’ prayers, support, and encouragement kept us moving forward.Operation Heartbeat for Gaza 1.06 trailers of life-saving aid: food boxes, baby milk and flour – For Gaza!Food Parcels: 3,246 unitsMilk: 1,034 unitsFlour (50kg each bags): 150 unitsHandover of 2 humanitarian trailers to the Royal Jordanian Air Force (RJAF) military base for airdrop operationAirdrop: 18 & 19 August 2025Operation Heartbeat for Gaza 2.0Verified, checked and documented stock with Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO) officer:Food Parcels: 2,906 unitsMilk: 2,880 unitsHygiene Kits: 350 unitsScan Here to watch Bernama’s News20 | KHOM MALAYSIA: 2025 Review

During the Palestine Relief Mission of Hope in Lebanon, KHOM MALAYSIA extended assistance through food parcels as well as financial and psychosocial support for orphans. Our efforts focused on providing food boxes to the descendants of the Nakba now residing in Burj AlBarajneh. During the mission, we met an 86-yearold grandmother who was only 9 years old when the Nakba occurred. These displaced Palestinians have lived in Lebanon for 77 years, largely forgotten as global attention shifts to more recent crises. In addition to food aid, KHOM MALAYSIA provided financial and psychosocial support to orphans who have never seen their ancestral homes, helping restore dignity, hope, and a sense of belonging to a generation growing up amid displacement.LebanonLEBANONOperation Winter Lifelinefor Syria Each country gets a different food box Every box follows the food pyramid nutritional valuesCost of one food box varies according to needs and ground situationGaza’s food boxes use long shelf-life itemsso families have essentials even when borders close and fresh food is scarce.Syrian boxes often include bulgur & lentils:common staples for Levant families.Malaysian boxes include local comfort foods: rice, bihun, sardines & cooking oil.Lebanon’s box adapts to hyperinflation: focusing on affordable, high-value staples.Food boxes are not just nutrition — they’re dignity. We pack what families can cook easily with the tools they have. What’s inside the Food Box?22 | KHOM MALAYSIA: 2025 Review

Karisma EduDreamSupporting Syrian Refugees in JordanThe Karisma EduDream program is KHOM MALAYSIA’s educational and empowerment initiative for orphaned and vulnerable Syrian children in Jordan. The program aims to provide these children — many of whom have been displaced by war and lost access to regular schooling — with a safe, structured environment to continue their education, develop life skills, and receive psychosocial support. Key features of the program include: • Formal Education and Literacy: Children are taught reading, writing, mathematics, and other academic subjects to ensure they meet the requirements for formal schooling or university entry. • Psychosocial and Emotional Support: EduDream provides counseling and mentorship to help children cope with trauma and the challenges of displacement. • Success Stories: Graduates of the program have gone on to attend universities, enter formal government schools, or pursue meaningful careers. One student was even accepted into the Syrian army because of the literacy and skills acquired through EduDream.Through Karisma EduDream, KHOM MALAYSIA not only addresses the educational gap for Syrian refugee children but also empowers them to regain confidence, independence, and hope for a brighter future, even amid the challenges of displacement. Our heartfelt gratitude to Khayrin Faqir Resources for their compassion and generosity in supporting the Karisma EduDream orphans in Jordan.Hope for EDUCATION, Inspiring the FUTUREThe Syrian war has stolen childhoods, forcing boys like Muhammad in Syria and Ahmed in Jordan, both just 12, to carry the weight of adult responsibilities. Muhammad supports his family daily, collecting scraps to feed his siblings, while Ahmed, who only recently joined school, provides for his family despite hunger and hardship. These boys embody resilience and dignity, yet they cannot survive alone. With your support, we can give them the chance to be children again — with bread, warmth, and education.“All the weight is on me,” he said, his hands motioning upward — a quiet gesture of a child carrying a man’s burden.Syria’s Children Become Men Too SoonScan here to know more about Muhammad’s story26 | KHOM MALAYSIA: 2025 Review

4Sustainable ProjectsPalestineIn October 2023, conflict in Gaza destroyed much of the territory’s water infrastructure, leaving thousands of people, including orphans and displaced families, without access to safe water. KHOM MALAYSIA responded immediately with emergency water deliveries using tankers, but recognized the need for a sustainable solution to ensure long-term access to clean water. To address this, KHOM MALAYSIA launched the Rayuan Telaga Air Gaza campaign, aiming to provide reliable water to vulnerable communities while reducing dependence on temporary deliveries. Wells were drilled to supply approximately 2,000 people per well, with the longterm goal of constructing at least 10 wells across Gaza.As of December 2025, the sixth well has been completed, providing clean water for drinking, hygiene, and daily needs. These wells have improved health, safety, and quality of life for vulnerable groups, especially children, orphans, and displaced families. Despite challenges such as ongoing security risks, damaged infrastructure, and temporary delays in projects like the sixth well, KHOM MALAYSIA has continued its efforts.Overall, the water well project has transformed emergency relief into a sustainable lifeline, offering reliable access to water and empowering Gaza communities to survive, rebuild, and regain some stability amid ongoing conflict.28 | KHOM MALAYSIA: 2025 Review PALESTINEWater Well (Boreholes)

When the Pejuang Merdeka Campaign was launched in 2023, we were deeply humbled to meet our national heroes — to listen to their stories of sacrifice, resilience, and patriotism. Many of their struggles have remained unspoken, carried quietly in their hearts long after their service ended.KHOM MALAYSIA is committed to ensuring that these stories live on, passed down from one generation to the next. The youth deserve the opportunity to understand the price of peace and independence, just as our veterans deserve to be honoured, remembered, and supported with dignity.Through this campaign, we provide practical assistance such as wheelchairs, adult diapers, food parcels, nutritional milk, and essential medical supplies. These contributions serve as a reminder that Malaysia — the children, grandchildren, and future generations of our national heroes — will never forget their sacrifices.WE SALUTE YOU.5Special ProjectPejuang Merdeka Campaign: Honouring Malaysia’s National HeroesKHOM MALAYSIA: 2025 Review | 31
