Over the past two years, relentless Israeli attacks have killed at least 67,000 Palestinians, with thousands still buried beneath the rubble and unaccounted for. Among the dead are at least 20,000 children, while over 169,000 people have been injured, many suffering from life-altering wounds.Today, Gaza bears the highest toll of human suffering in the world — holding the highest number of orphans, child amputees, and civilian deaths. It also records the highest number of children killed in a single conflict in recent history, and one of the highest rates of displacement, with nearly the entire population forced to flee their homes. The destruction has been catastrophic — homes, schools, hospitals, and places of worship have been flattened. Gaza now faces one of the highest levels of food insecurity and malnutrition, especially among children and mothers, alongside severe shortages of medical supplies and clean water, making it one of the hardest places on earth for healthcare access and survival.Amid this devastation, KHOM MALAYSIA plays a vital role in sustaining life and hope. Through its dedicated humanitarian missions, KHOM MALAYSIA continues to deliver food boxes, baby milk, medical supplies, and essential relief aid to affected families inside Gaza. Despite immense challenges and risks, KHOM MALAYSIA works closely with trusted partners to ensure that aid reaches those who need it most — the orphans, the injured, and families struggling to survive. In every measure of human tragedy, Gaza stands among the worst humanitarian crises in modern history — and KHOM MALAYSIA remains steadfast in its mission to bring compassion, relief, and dignity to its people.Overview1KHOM MALAYSIA: GAZA REPORT 24/25 | 5

Challenges Faced by KHOM MALAYSIAChallenges on the Ground in GazaKHOM MALAYSIA operates through two main networks to deliver life-saving aid to Gaza:The internal ground teams continue to face immense operational, logistical, and safety challenges amid ongoing airstrikes and instability:• Communication breakdowns:Frequent internet outages, power cuts, and drone attacks severely disrupt communication between field teams and headquarters.• Forced displacement: Teams are frequently displaced. It takes days to set up Dapur KHOM, our central kitchen, only for it to be bombed—forcing teams to rebuild from scratch.• Security risks during aid distribution: Large gatherings are targets of attack, requiring small, mobile, and scattered distribution points to safeguard civilians and volunteers.• Scarcity of aid items: Securing food and essential supplies is increasingly difficult due to limited availability in war conditions.• Price instability: Fluctuating prices of aid items complicate procurement and budgeting.• Managing desperate crowds: Large, hungry, and displaced populations create additional security and emotional challenges during aid delivery.Strategic Partnerships with Ground Teams in Gaza - involving dedicated local volunteers divided into five main teams, each further subdivided into smaller units for mobility, flexibility, and safety.KHOM MALAYSIA Team (KMT) -a Malaysian delegation operating from Jordan, managing logistics and humanitarian aid support from Jordan into northern Gaza.8 | KHOM MALAYSIA: GAZA REPORT 24/25
Challenges Faced by KHOM MALAYSIA Team (KMT)Operating with the support of the Jordan Armed Forces and the Malaysian Embassy in Amman, KHOM MALAYSIA ensures aid can move from Jordan into Gaza. However, several logistical and administrative challenges persist:Despite these challenges, KHOM MALAYSIA remains steadfast in its mission to ensure that humanitarian aid continues to flow into Gaza, and that every contribution from Malaysians reaches those who need it most.• Complex logistics: Every aid item must be verified and approved to meet border and international regulations.• Evolving procedures: Border protocols and approval requirements change frequently due to political and security shifts.• Unannounced border closures: Sudden shutdowns of humanitarian crossings cause significant delays. • Unexpected dispatch opportunities:Occasionally, entry approvals occur without notice, requiring teams to remain on standby—ready to mobilize immediately when a window opens.KHOM MALAYSIA: GAZA REPORT 24/25 | 9

In August 2024, KHOM MALAYSIA shared updates on our ongoing tent project for the people of Gaza. Soon after, one of our international donors from Italy reached out to us with an urgent plea — to help a woman named Nour (Em Kassem), resident of Al Daraj, Gaza. Her story broke our hearts. Nour’s husband had been martyred in the genocide, leaving her and her young daughters to survive in what could hardly be called a shelter — blankets hung as walls, exposed to the scorching heat by day and the freezing wind by night. We immediately mobilized our ground teams in Gaza, dividing the task of tracing her whereabouts. It was a mission that felt almost impossible — like finding a needle in a haystack amid the ruins. But after days of searching, KHOM Team C finally found Nour. Our volunteers visited her and discovered that she was not alone — her sister too had lost her husband. Together, they were caring for 13 women and children, all of them displaced, all of them grieving, yet holding on to each other for strength.Without delay, we reached out to our donors again. Through their compassion and swift response, we secured a small tent — a fragile but precious refuge — which Nour and her daughters now call home. This is more than just a story of aid. It is a story of resilience and hope — of a mother who refuses to give up, and of the determination of KHOM Malaysia’s team who would not stop searching until she was found.Scan here to know more about Nour’s storyIn the midst of devastation, humanity prevailed. It was a mission that felt almost impossible — like finding a needle in a haystack amid the ruins.Nour: The Resilient420 | KHOM MALAYSIA: GAZA REPORT 24/25
To deliver aid into Gaza, KHOM MALAYSIA operates from Jordan, where our teams manage logistics and coordinate the humanitarian shipments. We work closely with the highest authorities in Jordan and receive support from the Jordanian Armed Forces, who escort and deliver our aid into North Gaza.Once the aid is handed over to the authorities, our responsibility ends, and we must place complete trust in our partners and everyone involved. Food box EmailProof That KHOM MALAYSIA Aid Reaches North GazaObtaining footage of deliveries in Gaza is extremely difficult due to ongoing attacks and the crowds of hungry people who often rush to the convoys. On one occasion, we received an email from someone writing on behalf of a family member in Gaza. They confirmed that their family had received a KHOM MALAYSIA food box and even inquired about its contents. This email serves as rare and precious proof that our aid successfully reached those in need. Here is the email:KHOM MALAYSIA: GAZA REPORT 24/25 | 21

The Voices of Those in Gaza Who Receive Our HelpFamilies in Gaza often tell us that KHOM MALAYSIA’s aid reaches them at the moments when hope feels like it is slipping away. In a place where food, safety, and shelter are never guaranteed, a simple box of essentials becomes more than aid—it becomes a lifeline. Many share words that stay with us forever:Parents say that receiving a food box or milk for their babies brings them a sense of dignity—allowing them to care for their children with a little less fear. Widows tell us that your kindness gives them strength. Orphaned children say the support reminds them that they are still seen, still valued. For the people of Gaza, KHOM MALAYSIA’s assistance is not just humanitarian aid—it is a reminder that compassion can cross borders, that solidarity can survive even the darkest times, and that they are not facing this struggle alone.“Tell Malaysiathat we feeltheir prayers reach us.”“This food kept our children from sleeping hungry tonight.”“Even when the world forgets us, Malaysia remembers.”“Your help came when we truly had nothing left.”One message we hear often is: “When we see the word ‘Malaysia’ on the box, our hearts feel lighter. It means someone far away still stands with us.”6KHOM MALAYSIA: GAZA REPORT 24/25 | 23

7Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)26 | KHOM MALAYSIA: GAZA REPORT 24/25 “Is it true that aid to Gaza is brought in through the King Hussein Bridge?I myself have passed through that entry point when traveling to Al-Quds and witnessed firsthand the strict Israeli immigration controls — even items like dates from Jordan were confiscated there.”“So how is humanitarian aid able to get through these restrictions?”Yes, that is true. Aid deliveries via the King Hussein Bridge are subject to extremely strict control measures and security inspections by the occupying authorities. Nevertheless, this route is used by KHOM MALAYSIA to ensure that humanitarian aid continues to reach Gaza.KHOM MALAYSIA works in close cooperation with the highest authorities in Jordan and the Royal Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF).The delivery of KHOM MALAYSIA’s aid to Gaza is carried out by the Royal Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF).This cooperation has enabled KHOM MALAYSIA to successfully channel humanitarian assistance to northern Gaza through Jordan. It is important to understand that:Every aid item is subject to strict security inspections by Israeli immigration authorities. Not all types of food are approved for entry into Gaza. For example, dates containing seeds are rejected as they are considered potential “bullets,” which could result in the entire convoy being detained. We hope this explanation provides clarity and reassurance to all who support KHOM MALAYSIA’s humanitarian efforts.1 How does KHOM MALAYSIA operate in GAZA?2Our Response:
