An exciting program that provides the perfect way for you to enjoy memorable vacations
that erase life’s burdens and allows you to re-emerge as a brand-new you.



These are the four principle foundations on which the Kembali Vacation Club was built on:

Customer Service

We at Kembali Vacation Club pledge to delivering our customers exceptional customer service. We are
completely dedicated to the needs of our members. For your convenience, you can directly
communicate with our highly trained and courteous customer service team. No matter how simple or
hard your question may be you will be provided with the immediate answer. You can either call our
direct service contact or simply send us an e-mail.


Quality

The Kembali Club has been strictly built around providing top quality with an eco conscious vision.
Established in harmony with the natural environment. Our goal is to provide to travelers seeking a
unique location and experience, the opportunity to observe natural wonders in a pristine and
sustainable fashion while enjoying the comfortable and spacious accommodations. A typical unit
consists of a balcony, lounge, kitchen (full or partial), living area, flat screen TV and luxury quality
furnishings. Our apartments and villas are specifically designed for your family holidays.

Your Customer Service team is trained to operate the system for your maximum benefit. So don’t
worry if you are not too sure about any of the technicalities – just contact us and we will sort you
out.


Destinations

With your Kembali program you can choose to travel the world via either selecting from the portfolio
of Kembali Vacation Club resorts, featured in this guide or via the affiliated external exchange resorts.
As a member you literally have thousands of resorts to choose from.


Flexibility

We realize that your requirements can vary from one holiday to the next. One year you may only need
a studio, but on another occasion you perhaps your taking the whole family so you would prefer a
villa. Thanks to our flexible credits system, you are not restricted to one or the other. We have created
the system to suit your every need.

2.Kembali Club Credits Explained

In this section we will explain to you how the Club works and how to use your Credits to get
the most out of your membership.



What you own…
You own membership with the Kembali Vacation Club entitling you to the amount of credits
as shown on your Certificate of Ownership. This certificate states your membership number
and the amount of credits that you own. This Certificate is your proof of legal ownership and
should be kept in a safe place.

What a Credit is…
A credit is the currency that you will use to book your holiday with the Kembali Vacation Club.
The accommodation in each of our resorts has a credits value and you will use your credits to
pay for the night’s accommodation.

The timeframe of your holiday…
The best thing about the credits system through the club is that you can use a minimum of
one night and the maximum depends entirely on how many of your credits you wish to use
up. The only limitation is accommodation availability and the number of credits you have left
to spend.

Credit Allocation…
You will be allocated on the 1st of January the quantity of credits shown on your Certificate of
Ownership for the duration of your membership. At the beginning of each year once your
credits allocation is renewed, and once your Management fees have been satisfied, you can
use those credits.

How long your credits last…
The credits allocated each year expire on the 31st of December of the same year. However,
you may save your credits for a further 2 years by notifying your Customer Service officer
before the 30th November each year. Therefore, the maximum lifespan of your credits is three
years. So if you don’t use some or all of your credits you can save to them to the next year.
You can also borrow some or all of your credits from the next year if you wish to take a longer
holiday or stay in a larger unit.

Making a reservation…
Simply contact your Reservations Office or book online. The hardest part is picking where you
want to go. You will need to have the following information: Where you want to go, the dates
you would prefer, amount of adults and children traveling and ages of any children. Once your
booking is confirmed the credits will be debited from your account.

Selling or bequeathing your membership…
There is no restriction on selling, bequeathing or gifting your membership to others. Should
you wish to sell or transfer your membership, you can complete the transfer form on the
reverse of your Certificate of Ownership along with the authorization for the applicable
Kembali transfer fee for processing. All outstanding charges must be paid to date for any
transfer to be processed.

If you don’t have enough Credits for your holiday…
The options are numerous:

- Select a holiday that requires a lower credits value.
- Save your credits and go on the holiday of your choice next year.
- Borrow the points from the following year to complete the reservation.
- Check with DAE if there is a Bonus Week in the area for a discounted rate.
- Upgrade your membership to increase your credits quota.

3.Kembali Vacation Club Credits Table

4.Kembali Vacation Club Resorts Guide

The closest island to Lombok, Gili Air is aptly named after the Indonesian word
“Air” meaning “water”. It is the only Gili Island to have natural underground
fresh water wells. Gili Air is a gem of a spot that allows you to sample the best
of both worlds of the Gili Islands- It has the relaxing charm of Gili Meno and a
bit of the night life of Gili Trawangan. Here you can take it fast or slow and enjoy
an abundance of water sports from diving to surfing to kiteboarding and land
activities such as yoga and cycling. In the evenings there are fire dances and
seafood barbeques on the beach. Gili Air has pristine beaches and clear
turquoise waters that soothe and revive. It is the most locally populated island
with 1500 residents and its not hard to see a special pride amongst the locals for
the awe that their land inspires. There is the biggest concentration of bars and
restaurants on the east of Air where you can take in the views of lush green
Lombok and the heights of Mt. Ringani. Venture to the northwest and you will
find yourself on empty sands gazing at the majestic Mt. Agung volcano of Bali.
For sunsets be sure to be on the North/West side of the Island… We didn’t call
our resort Grand Sunset for no reason! Happiness is infectious on this island and
its friendly inhabitants will never miss a chance to make you smile.

The Grand Sunset takes comfortable island living to a whole new level, offering a variety of
world-class accommodations that cater to different types of travelers. Situated on the quiet
side of the island, The Grand Sunset makes for a perfect haven for individuals seeking some
peace and quiet. What makes it an ideal Gili Air Island Hotel for guests is the fact that it is in
close proximity to the village, where the main strip of restaurants is just five minutes away.

Guests who want a spacious and inviting place to unwind and get some sleep after a day of
snorkeling or diving the waters of Gili Air would feel at home in our Deluxe rooms. Each unit
has a partial scenic view of the Bali Sea, as well as a relaxing pool view. Elegant marble
floors and walls with open-air bathrooms make this a contemporary haven in the middle of
a tropical island paradise.

The Grand Sunset has its on-site dive center, pool, beachside Scratch restaurant and full
service bars as it seeks to become the ultimate haven for Gili Air guests. The views of the
Bali Sea and Mount Agung, Bali’s largest volcano, are breathtaking and can be seen from
The Grand Sunset. We have a live band and fire dancers for your nightly entertainment.

All rooms have beautifully designed open-air bathrooms for a majestic spa-like experience
every time you take a bath. Hot water is available for those early morning and late night
baths. Guests can wash off any sand and seawater with free environmentally-friendly soaps
in each room.


Unlike other island resorts, connectivity is never a problem at The Grand Sunset, as guests
have access to fast, in-room WiFi. Additional In-Room Comforts Other in-room comforts
include a satellite TV, mini kitchen, a standard dresser, a wardrobe, two night stands, four
soft and comfy pillows per bed, and fresh towels daily.

Comprised of 12 villas, most of which feature private pools, the resort offers luxury island
accommodations like no other. The resort features all the elements of a tropical resort including a
water sports/activity center where guests may rent paddleboards, glass bottom kayaks and book
scuba diving excursions. In the Spa guests can enjoy a selection of traditional treatments including a
relaxation massage in custom designed open-air pods located in the resorts organic gardens. The
resort features an infinity swimming pool as well as a premium beach club and waterfront sunset
view restaurant. Designed and engineered by Ibuku, the Grand Gili is sure to impress even the most
seasoned luxury traveler.

Ibuku’s award winning designs combine traditional building materials with modern architectural
style with eco friendly solutions. Blending first world engineering, traditional materials and a
revolutionary new building style the GG’s stunning architecture is sure to impress anyone who lays
eyes on the resort.


The GG facility utilizes solar power, grey water systems, organic gardens and auqua- ponics system.

Restaurant
The Grand Gili Beach Club welcome guests to a unique culinary experience while enjoying sunset
views of Bali’s Mount Agung Volcano. Gourmet tapas are served from an Asian-fusion inspired menu
specially tailored to utilize GG’s organic gardens, and use locally sourced ingredients.

The Restaurant features an Ibuku signature bar designed to look like an octopus. The main focal
point of the restaurant will be a baby grand piano shell made entirely of bamboo, and a bar designed
to look like an octopus. Other feature include a bamboo chandelier, driftwood floating bars and a
multi-level outdoor deck to maximize the quality of dining experience from every table (the sunset
view).
Restaurant location. The location of the Grand Gili is by far one of the best on the island. Located on
the southwest corner of the island perfectly positioned with sunset views of Bali’s Mount Agung
Volcano. The location on the southwest corner of the island makes Grand Gili on of the most
convenient sunset dining location on the island.

The Grand Gili is designed to be one of the most eco sustainable restaurants on the planet. Built
from specially treated bamboo and furnished with recycled boat-wood, the restaurant is built almost
entirely of recycled and renewable materials. Approximately 25% of the restaurants produce will be
grown in GG’s on-site organic gardens. The aqua-ponics systems will produce almost all lettuce
consumed by the resort, limiting environmental impact, ensuring quality produce. A healthy-
smoothie menu will be designed by the islands fourth generation “medicine man”. These healthy
concoctions are created exclusively from the resorts organic gardens.

5.Additional Member Benefits

We offer you more than just discounted holidays! When your on holidays we want you to sit
back and RELAX! As a Member of Kembali Vacation Club these are some of the extras you
will expect from us:

• RESORT ACTIVITES - Full access to our resort activities and entertainment. We
provide free entertainment like fire dances and a live band at our restaurants, dive
and sports center on-site and Spa retreats. Some activities will incur a levy charge for
use of sports equipment or health facilities.

• ADVANCED BOOKING - You can book your holidays up to 12 months in advance.

• PURCHASE MORE CREDITS AT ANYTIME – The more you own, the better. You can
upgrade your membership to a higher amount of annual credits at any time to
increase your holiday experience.

• GIFTING – You can send your family and friends on holiday using your membership
benefits so they can experience the VIP Kembali treatment. You can even rent the
week and make some pocket money!

• MONTHLY NEWSLETTERS – Keep up to date with our monthly newsletter found on
the website.

• TRAVEL AGENT – Our expert customer service team are more than happy to give you
advise and tips on your next destination.


• REFERAL PROGRAM – We pay you to send your friends on holidays.

6.How to Reserve your Holiday

We have taken the stress out of booking holidays. Follow these simple steps to get your next
holiday started.


1. Select the resort that you would like to stay at from the Resort Directory within this guide.

We recommend that you check with your customer service office if you are unsure about
locations, facilities or any other queries.

2. Choose the specific period of time you would like to travel. Note that if you are planning on
booking in peak seasons you always try and book as far in advance as you can.

3. Decide how long you would like to go for.

4. Choose what size apartment you will need for your family. Refer to your resorts guide to see
what size apartments are available in each resort.

5. Check on the Credits table you can determine how many credits you will need for the
holiday.

6. Call or e-mail your Reservations Office who will check availability for you. If the exact dates
are not available, we will send you the next closest available date.

7. Once the booking is confirmed, let us know if you would like any assistance with your flights,
travel insurance, transfers or overnight hotel accommodation.

7.External Exchange Resorts

Your membership with Kembali Vacation Club is not restricted to only your Kembali Resorts.
Let’s Travel the World!


Kembali Resorts
The Kembali Resorts are our home resorts in Gili Air, Indonesia and further resorts may be
added to this collection from time to time. The details on these resorts can be found in the
Kembali Vacation Club section 4 of this guide. To make a reservation at these resorts simply
contact your DAE customer service office.

External Exchange Resorts
In order to provide our members with the widest range of holiday destinations around the
globe, Kembali has agreements with a number of different resorts and with DAE an
exchange company. This exchange system gives you access to over 5000 affiliated resorts.

The system allows our members to access external properties directly. The convenience of
having the one office deal with all your requests combined with our very competitive
exchange fees without doubt represents exceptional value to our members.

The ever growing exchange network with Kembali and the volume of properties and holiday
destinations available to our members is growing all the time.

To book just contact your DAE service office and say you would like an External Exchange
and give them your Kembali membership details. Your travel consultant will inform you of
the latest additions to the system and availability. It may be necessary for the consultant to
contact the resort directly. If this is the case, you may need to wait a day or two to get a
confirmation for your booking.

Your credits account will be debited with the reservation is confirmed. In exactly the same
way as if you were booking a Kembali Resort. The confirmation will only be made after the
external exchange fee is paid.

The Exchange network offers you resorts in so many stunning locations, here are a few
places that we love. White sand beaches in Australia, Culinary delights of Asia, Spices of
India, Game watching in South Africa, History of Europe, Snowboarding in Canada, and the

8.Getting the most from your Membership


Are you familiar with the saying, “The world is a book; those who do not travel only read a
page.” We want you to read the whole book so here are a few tips on getting the most from
your membership.

Bonus Weeks
A great way of getting the most out of your membership is to utilize Bonus Weeks. These
are weeks you may use for yourself or others regardless of how many credits you actually
own.

If you don’t have enough credits in your account to take your desired holiday, or if you are
simply wishing to save your credits for a special holiday at a later date, ask your DAE
customer office to check whether or not they can offer you a Bonus Week. Members can
purchase these additional weeks at special discounted rates and even gift them to friends
and family subject to payment of a Guest Certificate fee. If they are available your
consultant will quote you the special member’s discounted price.

The cost of Bonus Weeks will vary according to the desired location and the time of year.
However, Bonus Weeks are always charged at only a small fraction of what such
accommodation would have cost the open market at a night by night hotel rate. They
therefore represent incredible value and are one of the best benefits of the membership.

Saving and Borrowing Credits
Saving
Let’s say you could only get away for 7 nights for this year so you have only used up 7
credits (equivalent to 7 nights in a HU) out of your 14 credits. You can SAVE the unused 7
credits for use at a later date.

So in the following year your credits account will show you 21 credits, being your annual
entitlement is 14 plus the 7 saved credits.

However, in order to do so, your request to bank (save) your credits must be received by
your customer service office before the 30th November, otherwise the points to which you
are entitled for the current year will expire on the 31st December. Notice can be given by
phone or e-mail.

Borrowing
Similarly, you can borrow credits from next year if you want to take a longer holiday now,
but, you may be asked to pay a provisional Management Charge based on the current year’s
fee for the credits you borrow from the next year. Any balance in management charges will
not become due until you are invoiced for the following year’s Management Charge on the
1st of November. If you have any questions on saving or borrowing your points entitlements,
just ask your Kembali Customer Service Officer.

Letting others use your Credits
Do you have a special event happening in the Family?
Wedding, Special Birthday, Honeymoon?

Another benefit is being able to spread a little love amongst family and friends. You can let
them take advantage of your membership. Its just like if you owned a holiday home and you
were letting your friends and family stay as a special guest.

As a Kembali Member you can either let others use your membership. They can either use
your annual entitlement of credits or DAE bonus weeks.

Renting out your Credits
Members are also able to rent out their entitlement credits at their discretion. If you are not
intending on using all or any of your credits or if you have credits due to expire, you can rent
out your credits against a confirmed reservation. Rented accommodation reserved are also
subject to the issuance of a guest certificate in the same way as letting your friends and family
use your holiday accommodation.

Purchasing more Credits
We understand that in life change is constant. Your holiday lifestyle today is probably not the
same as it was 10 years or even 5 years ago. To maximize your holiday choices, you should
own the number of credits that will give you the holidays that you want. You can at any time
talk to a representative to help you keep up to date with what’s happening with the club and
if you have the most suited membership for you.

Member Referral Program
You like the Club, you enjoy its benefits and you have a great holiday every year! Why not let
others in on the secret and enjoy the benefits of Kembali Vacation Club?

You can earn cash by giving away a referral week. So, if you have a friend or colleague who is
looking to take a holiday, send them on a vacation with us and we will give you cash. If they
happen to become a member with us we will give you even more. Please contact your
Customer Service to find out more.

9.Reservations Cancellation Policy

We all know that plans can change by unforeseen or changed circumstances, and this may
happen with your reservations from time to time. Cancellations unfortunately result in loss

of the accommodation to our other members hence it is important for us to have a
cancellation policy for your reservations when its cancelled with short notice.




Cancellation of your accommodation when using your Kembali Vacation Club Credits.
All credits used to make the reservation will be reaccredited to the member if the
reservation is cancelled at least 30 days prior to the scheduled arrival date. For cancelation
made less then 30 days when credits and any booking fees will be forfeited.

Any fees paid for a reservation that is cancelled using a guest certificate are not subject to a
refund. A subsequent visit using the credits will be subject to a new guest certificate, if not
used by the member.

Cancellation of your accommodation when booking exchange resorts or bonus weeks.
External resorts with in the exchange network operate their own individual cancellation
policies and you should check with your DAE travel consultant what the policy of each
individual resort is, prior to confirming your reservation.

10.Annual Management Charge

These charges are of paramount importance. Without these, the resorts cannot maintain
services to their members. They therefore benefit all members.


By purchasing your membership, you have beaten inflation and you never have to pay
accommodation charges again. You belong to an exclusive private member’s club and quality
and standards are important to you. The annual fees provide the income for the Kembali
Vacation Club to continually refurbish, manage and maintain the resorts to the high standards
that you expect.

The charges are calculated based on the principal that the cost of running resorts and thus
maintaining the properties underlying the club is bourn by members in proportion to the
number of credits that they own. Every resort management company prepares an annual
budget for the following year that covers all aspects of operating and maintaining its resort.

Each resort where the club owns property will then issue invoices to Kembali Vacation Club.
These invoices are reviewed by the Administrators and an overall budget for maintaining the
properties in the club is extrapolated. The next step is to divide this overall property budget
by the total number of credits which have been issues to Club members, which results in a
simple “per credits” fee.

The annual charge is due for payment before 1st November each year against your following
years entitlement. Invoices are sent to our members around 8-10 weeks prior to the due date.

Remember that before you can use your entitlement your fees must be paid in full.
