Ku Ka Sing

It is situated in Wat Burapha Ku Ka
Sing, Tambon Ku Ka Sing. It is another

huge temple with Khmer-style
architecture, comprising three prangs

on the same laterite base, and
rectangular library buildings in front.
All of them are surrounded by a wall,

with entrance pavilions known as
Gopura at the four directions. Outside

is a U-shaped moat surrounding the
wall.

Burapha phiram temple

This temple is located in the main town of Roi Et. The
third-class royal temple was formerly known as Wat
Hua Ro, and was later renamed as Wat Buraphaphiram.
It contains Thailand's tallest standing Buddha image,
known as Phra Phuttha Rattanamongkhon Mahamuni or
Luangpho Yai. The massive statue was built with
reinforced concrete, standing nearly 60 meters high,
even without the base (which itself is about 8 meters
high). A museum holds exhibits and displays, and is
located at its base. The statue and site are widely
revered by locals.

Chai Mongkol



The Phra Maha Chedi Chai Mongkol is one of the

largest chedis (pagoda) in Thailand.

The very elegantly shaped chedi is painted in white

color and very elaborately decorated in golden colored

artwork in modern style. Surrounding the chedi are

eight smaller pagodas. The finial on top of the chedi is

made of 60 kilos of pure gold.
