Yorkshire RFU administer 125 Clubs and Universities.
This number is multiplied considerably when taking into account
the large number of Clubs that run more than 1 team and large numbers of Mini, Junior and Youth sides.

The County run playing sides at U15/U16/U17/U18/U20’S and Seniors in men’s rugby plus U15/U18’s and
Seniors in women’s rugby. The Yorkshire U20’s is the most successful County side in the Country appearing
in the County Championship final on 15 occasions in 16 years winning 12 times.
All the other County teams put in credible performances throughout the season against other Counties.

Volunteers are the lifeblood of Yorkshire Rugby Football Union; we appreciate the time and commitment they
put in to help all the clubs within Yorkshire to thrive. As a County we highlight the support these people provide
and acknowledge the hard work they do by hosting an annual Volunteers Recognition event and this is where
your company may come in.

We are looking for sponsors for 10 awards which
we are presented at the event.
Mini Rugby Volunteer of the Year.
Junior Rugby Volunteer of the Year.
Men’s Rugby Volunteer of the Year.
Women & Girls Rugby Volunteer of the Year.
Referee of the Year, Student Volunteer of the Year.
Young Rugby Ambassador Club Volunteer of the Year.
Spirit of Rugby Award (school/college/university teams).
Yorkshire RFU Presidents Award (Unsung hero).

Sponsorship of each award costs £1,000 plus. This will provide your company with 6 tickets to attend
the event and we will invite you to present the awards on the night. The awards receive publicity both
nationally through the RFU, a national club newsletter and locally, to each club in Yorkshire, in the press,
