This is a quick reference guide to assist you in installing and using
the goIDit system.

Home Screen
Search: All units are displayed. Scroll down
to see inventory or search for a specific
unit in the search bar. Any units that match
your search will be shown.

Onboarding
Onboarding is the association between a unit of inventory and a
goIDit Sensor.
Step Select the Onboarding button.

Step Choose one of the three

Information entry
If you’ve provided a
spreadsheet of your inventory,
you will find the vehicles by
pressing this icon. Units that
have not been onboarded will
have a icon.
Manually enter the 17-digit
VIN by selecting the second
option.
Scan the VIN barcode that can
be found on the vehicle.

Active Scan
Active Scan is the process of updating vehicle location. When a unit is
moved, a user simply Active Scan’s the vehicle’s sensor by standing 10-15
feet away from the sensor and following these steps. Press the back button
in the upper left hand corner to return to the home screen

Active Scan Setting can be seen and set as shown
below.

User Profile
Ready to logout? Follow the steps below. Note: You may see more or less
options on this screen depending on your user permissions

Remove Units
Sold a sales unit? Completed service on a service unit? It’s time to remove the
unit from goIDit to keep your system most up to date. Note: if you remove the
sensor from a sold unit and reassign it to a new unit, the sold unit will
automatically be removed.
Step Go to api.goidit.co in your internet browser

Placement
Important: goIDit sensors are not water resistant. Place the sensor in a
location or holder that will keep the sensor dry.

Battery
Replacement
Sold a sales unit? Completed service on a service unit? It’s time to remove the
unit from goIDit to keep your system most up to date. Note: if you remove the
sensor from a sold unit and reassign it to a new unit, the sold unit will
automatically be removed.
Step Using a small coin or screwdriver, insert it
1. into the corner notch and carefully twist until
the enclosure opens.
Step Remove enclosure cover and the battery within

Step Remove old battery and replace with
