SOPHIA REINEKE COLLEGE LASER RADIAL NATIONAL CHAMP! LYC LASER TYRO TEAM EARN AN EXCELLENT SOUTHEAST CHAMPS
(November 4-5) Sophia Reineke picked up right where she Lauderdale Yacht Club had a great turnout for the laser fleet at the SE Dinghy Championships in
left off after High School when she won the High School Key Biscayne. The conditions were beautiful both Saturday and Sunday with winds peaking at 15

National Champ as a freshman! This is the third year in a only 4 points separated 4th place from 1st at the end of the regatta. Our own Michael Moss and

championship! Also, congrats to LYC’s Anna Weis in 6th, bullets in the final 2 races. In the 4.7 fleet, Liam Dorsey had a fantastic second day with a 3rd place
Carly Broussard in 11th and Sarah Streater in 13th! LYC and a first place, which bumped him up to 3rd overall in the final results. Lauren Connell, 5th place,
grads also did great in the Men's Singlehanded National Championship with Gage Wilson in 4th, and Michael Morley, 7th place, also had a good regatta with tough competition.
