Course Description
The subject develops better listening comprehension and oral skills, which will primarily be achieved by detailed instructions
on pronunciation. The focus will be on:
Listening - focuses on helping students to understand a lecture and analyze its components.
Speaking - allows students to participate in discussions and in-class dialogues and prepare them to give quality
informative presentations.
Each student's particular needs are evaluated regularly as part of the course, and strategies for improvement are provided
through drills, presentations and listening practice.
Goals/ Expected Learning Outcomes
The students will be able to:
1. introduce themselves with basic information.
2. distinguish the difference between rural and urban life.
3. learn and use common slang words in communication.
4. find out their own interest in the world of entertainment.
5. know how social media works.
6. learn what adjectives are and use these words to describe different superheroes.
7. express their feelings towards their mother.
8. learn different Thai Holidays and how they celebrate each.
9. be more confident speaking in English.
10. develop good interpersonal skills by practicing dialogues and question & answer with their classmates.
