Buddy bunny was dreaming about his job of delivering
carrots to all the families in the Bunny Town.

Buddy had just delivered a heavy load of carrots to the last
Bunny house and was ready to go home!

When he went back to his truck, there was a spring as

sharp as a needle sticking out of the chair. But Buddy
didn’t see the spring, and sat right on it.

Buddy wakes up and jumps out of bed with a pain in his
back. KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK! Barry Bunny and

Barbara Bunny were telling Buddy to wake up, He is late
for work! He runs as fast as he can to the door, but he
feels like he is moving in slow motion! When he looks

down at his legs he sees short, slow legs instead of long,
fast legs!

Buddy tells his parents that he isn’t feeling well and
doesn’t want to come out but his parents tell him he has to
come out and go to work. Buddy doesn’t know what to do!

Finally, Buddy slowly walks to the door, and nervously
opens it. His parents and sister see that he is no longer a

bunny and are terrified by his transformation!

Buddy felt really sad that he scared his parents, so he never left his
room. Every day Bella Bunny would bring a pile of food for Buddy to
eat. Buddy used to like carrots, but now he despises them. Bella kept
bringing different kinds of food until finally, she stopped bringing him

food. This made Buddy feel forgotten and lonely.

Buddy Bunny used to bring bunches of carrots home from
work, but Buddy couldn’t work anymore because he was a

turtle! Barry was so hungry and angry that he threw a
carrot at Buddy Bunny and cracked Buddy’s shell.

The Bunny family is sad and stressed, and Bella tells
Buddy that he should just leave. The next morning, Buddy

leaves home to make his family happy. He goes to a
nearby pond and stays there where he can’t bother

anyone anymore.

After Buddy leaves, Barry takes over Buddy’s old job and
brings carrots for the family. Seeing how happy the family
is from the pond, Buddy is happy; and they all live happily

ever after.
