INTRODUCTION

Our group tasked with creating worksheets for writing, reading,
listening, and speaking skills that can help Form 1 student further develop
these skills in the English subject. Grammar is also part of the worksheets as
a bonus. Each of our worksheets has five tasks with different kinds of
questions and answers to help the students practice their skills to get the
correct answer. We also give materials to help the students gain more
information and clues to answering each question in the tasks assigned. The
materials in this activity book such as videos, recordings, and more, give the
students an exciting way to learn and answer the questions. We used the
appropriate textbook as a reference by selecting suitable titles that will attract
the students into answering our worksheets.

The titles or topics that we chose in the textbook are New Year New
Me, A Bundle Of Joy, Stand By Me, and I Am Malaysian; the reason why; we
decided to select these topics is because they are appropriate and exciting for
students to try and answer our questions that makes them able to relate to the
topic itself with its various questions that have multiple scenarios. The skills
that do for these questions also play an essential role as they are the anchor
of what kind of questions we create. For writing skills, we would have the
students write paragraphs to answer a question that can even involve in their
own opinions to help them write better without any errors and use more words
to express their ideas in their writing. Reading skills requires the students to
read the paragraphs given that is related to the questions to find information
on how to answer the questions. They will find specific information from the
paragraphs and figure out its meaning to answer the questions without a
problem. For listening skills, we will provide the student's recordings which is
related to the tasks given. Students must listen to the recordings to find the
needed information to answer the questions provided. With this learning
method, students can find specific information from the recordings and
answer the questions faithfully. In speaking skills, the questions are slightly
different from the other three, as there are questions that require students to
speak and interact with each other. For example, our worksheet will have the

students play a role play about a selected topic. Another one will have the
students read out a dialogue to the other students. There is also an activity
where the students choose a place and imagine giving a tour. After that, the
students would pretend and provide the tour to that place with other students.
Grammar is a fundamental skill that does not have much to expand in new
ways to create questions and tasks. However, each task with its questions is
challenging yet easy enough for students to answer and figure out the correct
grammar needed for a sentence.

Each of these worksheets has its materials used with different
technologies to have a unique twist than the usual read and answer the
question method. Technologies such as Padlet, Quizlet, Kahoot and Quizizz
are technologies that we use in our worksheets. The worksheets have QR
codes for students to scan that will take them to the materials related to the
questions given. With these technologies and the tasks in our worksheets that
we made, we hope the students would find our worksheets fun and interesting.
