Pastor Dr. Mensa Otabil is the Founder

Mensa Anamua Otabil, the fourth born and
the third son in a family of four boys and a
girl, was born on August 31, 1959 to Lloyd and
Dinah Otabil in Sekondi. He and his wife -
Joy Otabil have four children namely, Sompa,
Nhyira, Yoofi and Baaba Aseda.

He has written several motivational, leader-

ting; How to Be Filled with the Holy Spirit and
Turning your Weakness into Strength.

The ICGC has an interesting accommodation
history – the church moved from place to
place, vicinity to vicinity before it could get a
permanent place of worship.

To make education accessible to the under-
privileged, the Church in 1988 instituted an
educational scholarship scheme to finance
the education of selected needy students in

Every year, the International Central Gospel
Church which has a history of involvement in
charitable and social impact projects, invests
in a project for the less privileged.

Politically, Pastor Otabil is accused of being
biased towards the New Patriotic Party (NPP)
but former President J. A. Kufuor has dispar-
aged that perception.
