BADGER BAND SPRING CONCERT

Thursday • April 19, 2018 • Tour 13532

On March 21, 1975, Professor Michael Leckrone
created a monster...the UW Varsity Band’s Annual
Spring Concert. On that day, before an unexpectedly
large audience of about 450 family, friends and fans in
Mills Hall, the UW Band got everyone together to put on one
final performance for the year and then... have a party! Join us
at the Kohl Center for the Annual Spring Concert to join the
party!

What Mike Leckrone, his production staff and the Badger
Band accomplish each April is extraordinary. No other college
band puts on such a professional production for one night,
much less three, the way the Wisconsin Band family does. But,
then again, there’s no other band like the University of
Wisconsin Marching Band… “when you’ve said Wisconsin,
you’ve said it all!” D

A relaxing day in door County starts with a 1 1/2-hour cruise aboard -2+1'(19(575,%87(
Fish Creek Scenic boat Tours. First, we set sail for Millionaire’s Row
and West Islands where the spirit of Door County is captured in great
scenery, wildlife and human history. This tour starts by heading south,
viewing the beautiful shore homes along “Millionaire’s Row,” one of Door
County’s most preferred addresses. Heading west onto open waters, we
explore the islands and watch the white pelicans and cormorants
nesting on the rock pile and learn what is special about distant
Chambers Island. Threading the needle between Adventure and
Strawberry Islands, we head back east, stopping off shore at Eagle Bluff
Lighthouse for a photo op.

After the cruise we enjoy a Door County tradition…the fish boil
lunch at pelletier’s.

Our final stop will be at Orchard Country Winery and Market for a
winery tour and some shopping and tasting in their market. L
