SOCIETY & VISITOR BOOKINGS WILL ALSO BE SHOWN IN THE ONLINE
DIARY ON THE CLUB’S WEB SITE.

MEMBERS PLAYING IN COMPETITIONS ARE REMINDED THAT FAILURE
TO ATTEND AT THE “BOOKED” START TIME, WITHOUT REASONABLE
EXCUSE, MAY RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION AND SUSPENSION FROM

COMPETITIONS.

Handicap certificates are available online via the
ClubV1 Member’s app or HowDidIDo app.

Start times for general play and competitions must be booked online prior to play. If
entering a competition, members must sign-in in the ProShop and pay the
competition fee prior to play.

Members should use the ClubV1 Members App to book a tee time. Competition(s) of
the day will be clearly marked on the tee sheet and tee slots reserved for concentrated
competition play. Members can decide if they wish to play in the competition or not,
but MUST play in the format of the competition if playing in the concentrated tee slots

ie. 3-ball, stroke play or stableford. Members can play in a competition at any other
time during the day.

Booking Competitions

You can book competitions on a smart phone using the
Club V1 Members App. Download the App from the
Apple or Google App store. You will need to Register
and activate your account. Use the same email address
we have on record for your login. You will be sent an
email to activate your account. Once activated, you will
be able to login. Within the App you can book
competitions, see results, read news, view your bar
balance and transactions, as well as have access to the
members list, and the ability to edit your own privacy
settings.

An alternative is the HowDidIDo App.
Download the app from the Apple or
Google App store. Again, you will need
to register and activate an account.
Use the same email address we have
on record for your login. You can book
competitions in the same way, analyse
results and see statistics on your play.

The HowDidIDo App contains advertising and is more of a general tool
for managing you game of golf and booking competitions. The Club V1
Members App is specific to Bridgnorth Golf Club.

If you don’t have a smart phone or prefer to use a web browser on a PC
or tablet navigate to www.bridgnorth.hub.clubv1.com. This is identical
to the Club V1 Members App. Register as above.

If you don’t have any technology at home, computers are also available
in the Lounge and Pro Shop for competition booking. Use the PSI Booking
Web Page and follow the on-screen instructions.

Checklist Before Playing

**Only required if you are playing in a Competition or wish to submit a General Play Score**

BEFORE PLAY
• Register your intention to submit a score in the pro shop BEFORE play.
• Enter the Date and Competition or “General Play”, “For Handicap” on your scorecard.
• Enter your Handicap Index on your scorecard.
• Check course handicap tables for the course you are playing - tables available in the
ProShop, Starter’s Hut and in fixture book.
• Enter the course handicap on your card - failure to do so means disqualification.
• For singles competitions you must play off your course handicap. Mandatory playing
handicap allowances will be for competition results only.

DURING PLAY
• Enter your gross score for each hole.
• No returns are NO LONGER allowed.
• If you pick up at any hole enter a zero in the score column. If you 'DID NOT PLAY' any
holes leave the score blank. DO NOT write NR across your card as all scores now count
for handicap.
• You may use the HDID App to enter your scores during the round or just after you have
finished.
• For 9 Hole competitions you need to have completed ALL 9 holes.
• For 18 hole competitions you need to have completed at least 10 holes.

AFTER PLAY
• If allowed (end of COVID restrictions) sign your card and ensure your marker signs, If
COVID restrictions then only player need sign.
• If using the HDID app you MUST state your marker before entering scores (it is the
person checking your scores and not yourself). Once all scores entered you MUST sign in
the space provided in your app.
• All scores must be submitted ASAP after play and before midnight on the day of play.
• Hand in your scorecard to the ProShop. If closed you must enter your score via the HDID
app.

Failure to submit your scorecard without a valid reason may lead to a penalty score under
rules of handicapping 7.1b

Competitions

Competitions marked with (M) indicates Major competitions. Silverware for these
are awarded at the annual presentation function held at the conclusion to the
playing season in November and winners’ names displayed on the honour boards
in the club house.

Full members (80+, Adult, U30, U25 & Student) are entitled to enter all
competitions and win the Silverware. Male Lifestyle, 2nd Club (Affiliated) and Trial
members may enter men’s Major competitions, but not win the silverware. Lady
Lifestyle, 2nd Club (Affiliated) & Trial members cannot enter lady’s Major
competitions. Juniors are entitled to enter certain competitions and win the
Silverware as below. It is the member’s responsibility to check their eligibility prior
to entering competitions.

All players need to refer to the course handicap tables (W, Y, R) to calculate course
handicap in relation to their handicap index. Players must always play off course
handicap when playing in competitions. For the purposes of competition results
