Warm Up

• 2 Laps around the gym

Tic Tac Shot

• Rules

• Divide the class into two groups and have them at the free throw line.
• Each player will shoot a free throw, and if made the player will place a bean bag inside one of he nine

hula hoops.
• The team who scores tic tac toe first wins the game.

• Objective

• Have all he players work as a team to win the game of Tic Tac Toe.

Line Tag (Pac Man)

• Rules

• Two players are chosen as being “IT” are the Pac-Man.
• The other players must stay in the lines that are created and run away from the Pac-Man
• Any player a Pac-Man tags is “out” last player is considered the winner.

• Objectives

• Get players some cardio and let them have fun playing a video game in real life.

• Key Skills

• Speed
• Awareness
• Agility

• Equipment

• No equipment, Gym Floor is used.

P.I.G.

• Rules

• A played is chosen to attempt a trick shot and if made, the other players must make an attempt to copy the
shot.

• Each time a player misses a shot, they are given a letter.
• After the three letters (PIG) the player is eliminated.
• Last player is declared the winner.

• Objectives

• Challenge players to be creative and develop shooting skills

Cannon Fire

• Rules

• Both teams will stand on different sides with cones set up in between the teams.
• Each cone will be worth a certain amount of points.
• The teams must try to hit the cones with a bean bag, until all cones have been hit.
• The team with the most points at the end is the winning team.

• Objectives

• Get the players to use throwing and accuracy skills to hit enough cones for their team to win.

Bean Bag Toss

• Rules

• There will be teams of 2.
• The team must have the bean bag land inside the hula hoop to earn points.
• Each Hula Hoop will be worth a certain amount of points.
• First team to score 12 points will be the winner.
• If a team goes over 12 they return to 6.

• Objectives

• Score up to 12 points and not over before your opponent.

Duck, Duck, Goose

• Rules

• One player is chosen to be “it” and the rest form a circle to start the game.
• The player chosen as it will go around tapping each player and saying “duck”.
• Until the player says “goose”.
• The player chosen as the goose must chase and catch that player before they make it back to the original

position.

• Objectives

• For the person that is “it”, don’t let the goose catch you.
• For the “goose”, must catch the player before they return to your spot.

Frisbee Golf

• Rules

• Each player will have a Frisbee and given 3 chances to land it in a hula hoop.
• Any attempt that lands before the 3rd try will give the player a negative score
• Any attempt after the 3rd attempt will add to the players score.
• The player with the lowest score wins the game.

• Objectives

• Get the Frisbee inside the Hula Hoop before by the 3rd attempt.

• Key Skills

• Frisbee accuracy

Ultimate Frisbee

• Rules

• Each team is split evenly and must score 10 points to win the game.
• The player with the Frisbee can’t move until they throw it to a teammate.
• If the Frisbee touches the ground or is batted down, the opposing team takes over.
• If the offensive player moves with the Frisbee, the opposing team takes over.
• Teams must go pass the baseline in the gym inbounds to score a point.

• Objectives

• Score 12 points before your opponent.
• Don’t turn the Frisbee over.
• Defense must bat the Frisbee down or intercept it.

• Frisbee accuracy

Noodle Tag

• Rules

• One player is chosen as being “IT” they must chase other players around and tagging them with the noodle.
• When a player is hit with the noodle they must grab a noodle themselves.
• After three players have a noodle, the rest of the game anyone who is tagged is out.
• Last player left is the winner.

• Objectives

• Players must try their best not to be hit by the noodle.

• Key Skills

• Speed
• Mobility

• Equipment

• Noodle

Musical Hoops

• Rules

• Players circle around Hula Hoops that are also stretched out in a circle form.
• Players will walk around while music is playing, and as soon as the music stops they must hop in a Hula Hoop.
• Any player left out is out of the game.
• Last player is declared winner.

• Objectives

• Players must secure a spot inside the Hula Hoop when the music stops, before others.

• Key Skills

• Reaction time.
• Speed

• Equipment

• Music
• Hula Hoops
• Speaker

Dr. Dodge Ball

• Rules

• Each team will designate a team Doctor.
• Dodgeball rules apply, but when a player is hit they must sit down until the doctor puts you on a scooter and

rolls them to the baseline.
• Once the player passes the baseline they may return the game.
• If the doctor is hit they are out the game and may not return.
• The team who eliminates all their opponents, is the winner.

• Objectives

• Keep the doctor protected
• Eliminate all the opposing players

• Key Skills

• Reaction
• Catching
• Throwing
• Dodging

Knockout

• Rules

• Line up all the players at the free throw line.
• The first person to shoot must make the basket, before the person makes it behind them.
• If the player doesn’t make the shot before the player behind them they are out.
• Last player left wins the game.

• Objectives

• Make sure to make the shot before the player behind knocks you out.

• Key Skills

• Shooting
• Rebounding

• Equipment
