Innerwheel Day Celebration: On 10th of January, Innerwheel day was celebrated by the club members. A club picnic was organized at a farm house in Bonai. Forty blankets were distributed to the needy people in the village. A cake was cut by the charter members. Games and fun activities took place and winners were awarded with prizes. Republic Day Celebration : Republic Day was observed at Rourkela school for the deaf with enthusiasm and pride. The vibrant atmosphere echoed with the spirit of patriotism, as the students, teachers and Inner wheel members came together to commemorate the day. After the flag hoisting and National Anthem, the students were briefed about the speciality of the day and importance of Republic country and our Constitution.Biscuit packets and sweets were distributed among the students.
Upcoming Events: Visit to “Home of Love” ashram at Vedvyas. Innerwheel club members throughout the world celebrated its 100th birthday in a numbers of ways, by giving their personal service to those who needed help. It is celebrated on 10th January, as on January 10, 1924, the Mother club, the Manchester Inner wheel club, England, first adopted the name Inner wheel. All the members throughout the world join together to extend service and friendship.It is celebrated in diverse ways, each of them reflecting the aims of Inner wheel.The person who came up with this idea of celebrating Inner wheel day on 10th January was IIW President Helena Foster(1969-1970) 100 years of Dedication 100 years of Association Hundred years of Achievement Hundred years of Admiration Hurray to the hundredth! It’s a time to celebrate, One hundred more years We love Inner wheel For reasons so many It has the power over many We all stand wishing and praying A life full of service and shares
Achievements and Happenings: President, Mrs. Soudamini Singh was felicitated as a motivational speaker by Rourkela Club on 30.12.23 She was invited by CWS to speak on “LIFE IS A GIFT” on 12.1.24
She was invited as a chief speaker by Ekalavya Adarsh Vidyalaya Mandira Dam to speak on Jagannath Sanskruti on 23.1.24 President Soudamini Singh attended the District Conference, “Rashmika” at Durg on 30.1.24 and 31.1.24.
