Editorially Speaking - with David Penn
Good afternoon one and all, and a special welcome Moving on we now face an entire month of away

players are leaving, or have already left us this week. Cheers - DP
Is this a reaction to last weekend’s result or just a
trimming of the squad, only the Management know
the real reasons. But it’s time to say a great thank
you to two of our stalwarts from the Championship
winning team of 2016-17, central defender Quincy
Rowe and our top goalscorer from that winning side,
Billy Dunn. Also going are the effervescent Ollie Ben-
nett, another member of the Championship winning
squad and in my opinion a much underrated and
under used bustling midfielder and two recent addi-
tions to the squad, Anis Nuur and Reece Cave.
Again, our thanks go out to them for their service
during their time with us.
On another note, our previous ’keeper Matte Pierson
has reportedly signed for Slough Town, they are
certainly getting themselves a top ’keeper and an all
round good chap.

The FBI had an opening for an assassin and after all the background checks and tests were done, there were
three finalists, two men and a woman.
For the final test, the FBI agents took one of the men to a large metal door and handed him a gun.
'We must know that you will follow your Instructions no matter what the circumstances. Inside the room you
find your wife sitting In a chair ..... kill her !!'
The man said, 'You can't be serious. I could Never shoot my wife.'
The agent said, 'Then you're not the right man take your wife and go home.'
The second man was given the same instructions. He took the gun and went into the room. All was quiet for
about 5 minutes and the man came out with tears in his eyes, 'I tried, But I can't kill my wife.'
The agent said, 'You don't Have what it takes. Go home.'
Finally, it was the woman's turn. She was given the same instructions, to kill her husband. She took the Gun
and went into the room. Shots were heard, one after another. They heard screaming, crashing, banging on
the walls.. But after a few minutes, all was quiet. The door opened slowly and there stood the Woman, wiping
the sweat from her brow. 'This gun is loaded with blanks' she said. 'I had to kill him with the chair !’
