complete our project in develop a package for course Community Based Tourism. A special

gratitude we give to Homestay Teluk Ketapang, Kuala Terengganu that contributed to help us a lot
of help and encouraged us in making the project succesful especially in writing this report.

Furthermore, we would like to thanks and extend our gratitude to Encik Md Azmi Bin A.Aziz and Encik
Mohd Hasli Bin Mohd Zain for providing us with all the information about Homestay Teluk Ketapang.
A special thanks to our lecturer Miss Norhaslin Bt Abu Hassan and En Muhammad Asyraf Bin Rosli
for guiding us from the start until this project end. Last but not least thanks to my teammate
Syakirah Sadli, Heezwanie Danuri, Atirah Sata and Amirah Ishsam for always helping each other to

ACTIVITIES

SNORKELING

At Teluk Ketapang Homestay, we focused on Eco-Adventure Tourism. We suggest that all of the Eco-
Adventure packages linked with one of the island in Terengganu which is Kapas Island.
Snorkelling,particularly at tropical resort locations, is a common recreational activity.The primary
attraction is the chance to experience underwater life without the complicated equipment and
preparation needed for scuba diving in a natural environment. Owing to how little effort there is, and
without the exhaled bubbles of scuba-diving equipment, it appeals to all ages. The two surface disciplines
of the underwater sport of fin swimming are based on it.

ANYAMAN

One of the activities that Teluk Ketapang Homestay has provided is anyaman
daun kelapa, Coconut staple is known to have a thousand benefits. All parts of the
tree from the fruit, tree trunks, leaves, to the bones of the leaves can be
transformed into many things. Of all the parts of the coconut tree, the leaves are
the part that can be turned into more things than any other part. By weaving,
coconut leaves can be made into mats, hats, bags, and children's toys. Hm, the
creativity side is really needed in this case.

MENCANTING BATIK

Batik is an Indonesian wax-resist dyeing technique applied to whole fabric. Java, Indonesia,
emerged from this technique. Batik is both an art and a craft, which is becoming ever more
popular and well known among contemporary artists all over the world, as a wonderfully
creative medium. Batik is created either by using a sputtered tool called a tjanting to draw
dots and lines of the resist, or by printing the resist with a copper stamp called a cap. The
wax applied is resistant to coloring and thus enables the craftsman to selectively colour by
soaking the cloth in one color, extracting the wax with boiling water and repeating if several
colours are needed.

RIVER CRUISE, TERENGGANU

TTI (Taman Tamadun Islam) River Cruise provides a unique and different experience for
you. The guided cruise, which enables you to enjoy the serene splendor of Terengganu
River. To Ku Paloh is the embarkation point, from which will take you an enchanting cruise
into the past and present development as the cruise guide recounts the historical
significance of the various attractions upstream.

PASAR PAYANG 2

The location next to Sungai Terengganu, is able to provide interesting memories to visitors
because it is clean, organized and comfortable. The location of the new market is also not far from
the Pasar Besar Kedai Payang (Pasar Payang), but compared to the previous market, Pasar Payang 2
provides more business space with 762 lots of shops and other facilities such as toilets and suraus.
Inside a modern building, Pasar Payang sells a mixture of items, from clothes to food. You can find
reasonably priced textiles, such as silk, batik, and brocade, or buy ready-made products like dresses
and scarves. The market also offers fresh produce, and remains an ideal shopping destination for
anyone interested in experiencing the local culture in an authentic, engaging way
