Employee Appreciation: Words of Gratitude

“As CEO, nothing brings me more
satisfaction than seeing our associates
succeed. I want to take a moment
to recognize the tremendous work
of each member of the alphabroder

proud of what this company has

ab/Prime Deco Production Expansion Update

By: Eric Levin, Executive Vice President of Decorations Operations

Harrisburg, PA -“If you build it they will come”

Last spring we got the green light to build our new state of the art decoration facility in Harrisburg,
PA. Much has transpired in a year’s time as the photos surrounding this article illustrate. We began
preparations in March, received our Certificate of Occupancy August 1st and began decoration that day!
Within two weeks our presses were running 8,000-10,000 bags daily which made an immediate impact
in our production. Over the next 6 months we brought in additional presses and transitioned from a
small deco center to a full-blown decoration factory producing over 75,000 Bags, Shirts, Hats, Blankets,
Notebooks, Folders, and Drinkware daily. The facility is currently running over 200 orders per day and we
are starting a 2nd shift that will add capacity to our new footprint.

Bridgeport, CT – “One Pad, Two Pad, Three Pad...MORE”

Our Bridgeport facility continues to increase its capacity. Over the past 18 months we have added 20 plus
presses providing additional capacity of over 30,000 units per day. Our Bridgeport Pad division now has a
whopping 120,000 units coming out of the facility daily! An additional 20,000 square feet of warehousing
has been added near our Bridgeport facility in Brookfield, CT which allows us to keep the inventory close
by and the presses running.

Thank you to the many team members who have traveled to train new employees and set up a new facility.
The legacy ab team has been incredibly supportive to all of the expansion efforts – and this has been a
joint effort, no doubt. We welcome those who are new to the abIPrime deco family and proud to provide
this growth opportunity. It truly takes a village of unique skillsets to make this happen and we thank

Top Performers Going Above and Beyond: Beth Belich
Named ASI Supplier Salesperson of the Year! (BB-ASI)

By: Joèl Bastien, Regional Vice President of Sales

2018 was quite a year for Beth Belich, Chicago Outside Sales
Consultant. Beth was honored as both the alphabroder 2018
President’s Club Winner and the ASI Supplier Salesperson of the Year!
The numbers speak for themselves proving her place as President’s
Club #1; Private Brand growth of 21%, Fashion Brand growth of 75%,
Preferred Brand growth of 37% and Trade Brand growth of 18%.

Her peers describe her as Persistent. Always learning. Boisterous.
Driven. Tenacious. A Pleasant Surprise. Passionate. Resilient. A
Sponge. Dynamic. Dedicated. Charismatic. A leader. Customer
Focused. And, of course Gangster Rap meets Martha Stewart.

Our method of measuring our President’s Club ranking is one thing.
But, I think we all agree that there is no greater compliment then the
voice of the customer. The ASI Distributor Choice Awards recognizes

one supplier salesperson of the year. This industry honor is based on submissions from distributors. A
minimum of 5 submissions are required in order to be considered. We all understand the true honor of
having more than 5 customers proactively submit your name as the best in industry.

“Her best attributes are her energy, promptness, complete sincerity and her joyful and kind heart,” says
Vickie Radde, president at Corporate Graphic Solutions “Her excitement to assist clients with new product
launches and selling opportunities is contagious.”

Chris Nyce, Vice President at Wildman says “She is a tremendous resource for our sales team and
provides a ton of value in contributing to our growth. She is very knowledgeable about the brands and
products that best fit our customer’s needs. To top it all off she is a blast to work with and we enjoy
having her as our rep!”

These are just a few of the customers that spoke up because they view her as best in the industry.

2018 was quite a year for her and her family. She sent not one but two kids off to college. Her husband
accepted an amazing new career opportunity in North Carolina. We were able to offer Beth a role
in North Carolina where she was able to join her husband and join the Big Bad South as her newest
challenge in 2019!

Congratulations Beth Belich!

MEET THE TEAM

Spotlight on: Virgie Childers

Customer Service Supervisor, Gaffney, South Carolina

What is your first memory at prime?
I had been working for Jetline for over a year when Jetline was
bought by Prime and I distinctly remember the first time the “Prime
Team” visited our SC location. On the morning they were due in, we
were all anxiously awaiting to see who the new “owners” would be.
Then they were here! All smiles and happy, excited greetings, so
personable and speaking with everyone. We all met in the conference
room, over the next couple of days, to see the unified structure of
both Jetline Legacy and Prime Legacy coming together. When I saw
the actual charting of the employees and the Management Teams
listed, I was amazed. That’s when I knew we were all in for the rides of
our lives and boy, was I correct! I’ve embraced my role as Supervisor
of the Customer Team and haven’t stopped since… now I’m excited
to be a part of the ab | Prime team… all smiles!

What advice would you give to recent new hires?
The first thing I tell any new hire that is joining the Customer
Service Team, is to treat the internal and external customer the
exact same way that you want to be treated. No one wants to feel
that they are a bother or an inconvenience to anyone. I follow that
up with, “there are no dumb questions” and that’s the truth.

RECIPE

Ms. Sally’s Southern Pinto Beans Recipe

Click Here for the Full Story and Printable Recipe

SERVES: 8

Delicious additions to any meal, pinto beans are another quick
and easy side dish in the classic Southern tradition. We’re
featuring the recipe of our dear friend, Ms. Sally who says that
this is her most requested dish from family and friends. Just a
few simple ingredients are all you’ll need

INGREDIENTS

• 1 Pound bag of dry Pinto Beans. Must be soaked 6-8 hours
or overnight. Plan accordingly

• 1 whole Onion, peeled
• 3 slices of pork Fatback, (approx.4oz total weight)
• 1/2 teaspoon of Cayenne Pepper
• Salt and Pepper to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Place dry beans in a large dish or on your countertop.
2. Sort through the dry beans, removing any stones, twigs,

hard beans or other foreign objects.
3. Place dry beans in a colander and rinse well under cold

running water.
4. Pour rinsed beans in a pot and cover with about 6 inches

of cold water. Let soak overnight.
5. Pour beans back in colander, drain, rinse again, stirring until

water runs clear.
6. Place a large pot, filled about half full of water on your stovetop. Set to medium-high heat.
7. Add rinsed and drained beans to pot. Bring to a slight boil.
8. Add the whole, peeled Onion.
9. Add the three slices of Fatback
10. Add 1 teaspoon of Cayenne Pepper and stir all ingredients well.
11. Cover pot and reduce heat to medium-low or to a low simmer.
12. Let beans simmer 1 to 2 hours until tender. Stir about every 30 minutes and watch liquid levels.
13. Don’t allow the liquid to drop below the top of the beans while cooking. Add hot water as needed.
14. When beans are tender, taste and add salt if needed.
15. If you add salt, stir and simmer about 10-15 more minutes.
16. Serve warm and Enjoy!
