About Established in 2010, UI GreenMetric World University Rankings envisions to be an open and respected world university rankings which brings sustainable impacts to universities around the world. To achieve this vision, we do 5 missions. They are (1) organizing annual World University Rankings on Sustainability, (2) encouraging sustainability practices in universities around the world, (3) providing sustainability-related services for universities around the world, and (4) facilitating international partnerships on sustainability. In UI GreenMetric we believe that everyone should play their roles actively. We collaborate in our UI GreenMetric World University Rankings Network with 1183 member universities in 84 countries (2023). our rankings Our ranking aims to provide the result of the online survey regarding the current condition and policies related to the greening of campuses and sustainability improvement in universities all over the world. It is expected that by drawing the attention of university leaders and stakeholders, more attention will be given to global climate change, clean energy, water conservation, waste recycling, green transportation, and sustainability education and research.
