It’s been a busy year for Platform Construction.
Back in January, the team handed over the keys
to HIH on Oxford Terrace to the new owners.
Our Cranmer Terrace project began to pick up
pace as we began in earnest to construct the 44
Residential Townhouses that will grace this site.

Construction has progressed well, with the
challenges of managing the pandemic, and access
to labour and materials being a common theme.
In recent weeks, we have welcomed two new
people to the team: Ray Maarts, Site Foreman and
Ashleigh Burgess, Program Coordinator.

Brick veneer cladding on Cranmer Terrace's Red
Block has continued with the exterior elevations
now beginning to reveal themselves slowly.
Additionally, interior finishing of linings has begun,
including gib stopping and painting of the internal
walls. Plumbing and electrical works are well-
advanced throughout the units. The progress to

Riccarton Racecourse

New Zealand Thoroughbred Racing
