Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® Upsilon Epsilon Omega Chapter In the summer of 1991, Dolores Morton Spriggs, Gretchen Styles, and Juanita A. Tillery recognized a need to establish a chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.® to provide programs of service to the Baltimore County area. On July 10, 1991, these three visionaries formed the Ladies of Vision interest group. Over the next three years, the Ladies of Vision interest group membership expanded and on June 26, 1994, the Upsilon Epsilon Omega (UEO) Chapter was chartered. Chartering members include Joy Alford Graham, Princess F. Battle, Patricia T. Brent, Vanessa D’Arville, Brenda Davis, Linda Davis, Donna Dawson, Monica L. Gaines, Carol Hayward-Faulk, DeBorah Holt, L. Michelle Jackson, Tammy L. Jones, Leslie S. Lyles, Lisa L. Mack, P. Dolores Mbah, Thetius Saunders, Greer Shorter, Dolores Morton Spriggs, Gretchen Styles, Juanita A. Tillery, and Ursula Walston. The Ladies of Vision (LOV) Charities, Inc., was founded in 2013 by the members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Upsilon Epsilon Omega Chapter. The organization received its IRS 501 c 3 designation on April 17, 2013; in 2023, we celebrated our 10th anniversary! As a non-profit community organization, our charitable purpose is not just to enhance, but to transform the lives of those in the Baltimore County community. We collaborate with other local and national community-based organizations that share our goals and interests, to address the ever-changing needs of the community. Through our impactful programs, grants, scholarships, and events, we strive to invest in those who need it the most, with a strong focus on building a brighter opportunity for future generations.
