process of distribution and payment. All of
this is admittedly outside my area. I can land
a wide body jet on a dime any time any day.

Those skills don’t translate necessarily to shirt
orders, but I’m doing my best. Keep those

I hope everyone’s spring training is going well. My next mara-
thon is on June 14th and it occurs to me that I have not had much
heat training so far! The cooler temperatures are wonderful, so I
hope I don’t have my first hot day on marathon day! Oh well,
that’s part of the adventure. Stand by for my race report and
photo ops in the next Boll Weevil. Please submit your race re-
ports and photo ops to Kim Davis - [email protected] to be
included in the next newsletter. Also, don’t forget to post on our

An inspiring letter:

Dear Mr. Anderson,

My name is Andre Slay and I am a 4 year employee airport customer
service agent in LIT. I wanted to thank you for running such a won-
derful company. Because of this company's support, I am working on
being a flight instructor, and I am also an amputee representing
Delta running the Boston Marathon this year on April 21st, 2014.

You all have supported me in great ways in my journey while working
for Delta.

My General Manager Michael Raine has always given me support or
help for days off while in flight school, and has always encouraged
me to keep pushing forward.

And Letty Ashworth and Maurese Jenkins has done more than enough to
get me to the starting line at the Boston Marathon and I assure you
all I will get to the finish line thanks to Delta's help.

I just wanted to say I'm thankful for the opportunity to grow and
that I have matured so much while being under Delta's umbrella.

I hope to remain with this company for life and eventually fly it.

Customer service is our most important ingredient for growth; but
also employee treatment is as well, and I can say I've been treated
wonderful by Delta.

We finally found a vendor and got Delta Corporate approval for new Duster running singlets !!! Delta
Duster’s Singlets are 100% technical fabric (similar to Coolmax). Dark blue shirt with white trim. Singlets

are $20 and have the “Delta Dusters” logo next to the Delta widget. Matching shorts are also available,
and also $20 (no logo, just shorts). Available in woman’s and men’s cut. (Singlets and shorts have
“snug” fit cut. If you want a loose fit, select the next larger size. (Sizing chart is on next page.)
