First of all I am very grateful to all the people who helped me and gave me a lot of
meaningful ideas. This journey is not easy, and it cannot be done casually. Here I
would like to especially thank my lecturer dr. julia for his support and
encouragement all the time, I sincerely appreciate all this.
At the same time, I also feel very much that my classmates, without their efforts,
tolerance and cooperation would not be possible to complete this magazine.
Thanks to all my classmates for helping me to be successful. And my parents and
family, they also gave me a lot of ideas and information, allowing me to collect
more different and more meaningful information in order to complete the

SITE PLAN BACKGROUND
AND First of all, our purpose this time is to build a
BACKGROUND Habitat Studio Architecture belonging to the
Department of Architecture. The site proposed
LOCATION : POLISAS SEMAMBU is located in an educational institution in
KUANTAN PAHANG Kuantan, which is POLISAS in Semambu.
SITE PLAN Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Polytechnic (POLISAS)
is a Polytechnic in Malaysia located in Kuantan,
Pahang. This Polytechnic is the oldest
Institution of Higher Learning in Pahang which
was established by the Government of
Malaysia in 1976. This institution is the 7th
oldest in the list of public institutions under the
control of the government. POLISAS had a
total of around 8,396 students in 2010.

PLANT CHARACTERISTIC

Plumeria tree in the Malay
community in Malaysia have often
been planted in Islamic cemeteries
since ancient times. The Plumeria
tree is a hardy and upright tree
with many branches and is
believed to be able to grow for
hundreds of years. The Plumeria

tree is able to grow as tall as 7- LEAVES

8meters with lush green leaves and
bright pink, white and yellow
flowers or a combination of them
and emit a fragrant smell or
aroma. Usually Plumeria tree in
our country are around 1.0-2.5
meters In height only if pruning is
often done.

ARECA CATECHU
PLANT CHARACTERISTICAreca catechu is a species of palm which
grows in much of the tropical Pacific,
Asia, and parts of east Africa. Areca
catechu is a medium-sized palm tree,
growing straight to 20 m (66 ft) tall, with
a trunk 10–15 cm (4–6 in) in diameter.
The leaves are 1.5–2 m (4.9–6.6 ft) long,
pinnate, with numerous, crowded
leaflets. The areca palm is also used as
an interior landscaping species. It is
often used in large indoor areas such as
malls and hotels.

Athyrium Esculentum is
a plant that is easy to
find in the bush in
Malaysia, especially in
wetlands. Has more
than 40 species is a
type of leafy plant that
is usually green or
other coloured that
contains anthocyanins.

PLANT CHARACTERISTIC
PAGE 06 | JOURNEY Pandanacaea is grown in the home
area, especially by the Malays as
an important crop that must be
present in every house. The
Pandanacaea plant is a monocot
type that has more than 600
species. Only fragrant pandan is
widely grown for use in cooking
and its essential oil extract. Other
types of Pandanacaea are used to
make woven mats, ornamental
trees and also in other related
industries. Pandanacaea Trees do
not have hardwood stems but
have aerial roots that easily grow
in all soil type conditions.

species for the genus Yucca.
