EVENT RULEBOOK

Cretus

1. LABYRINTH

The challenge is to build a rescue bot, equipped with a mobile camera and
LEDs/flashlight, and navigate the bot through a perilous maze, and bring
back the target in one piece.

Rules and Regulations:

FOR TRACK

 The bot should cover complete path of the arena, no shortcut will be allowed
 This track will mainly test the maneuverability of the bot and the skill of the one c

ontrolling it.
 The object to be rescued will be placed at the centre of arena.
 The arena will be covered from the top and an inside look of the track has to be a

chieved by means of mobile camera placed on the top of your bot.
 There might be obstacles on the inside such as walls, mirrors, speed breakers

etc.
 The object to be rescued will be a cube of side length 5cm.
 Any damage done by the bot to the arena will lead to disqualification of the team.
 Organizers reserve the right to make modification in the track in case of technical

faults or in case situation demands.
 Slots will be there on the roof of arena for wires to move freely.

FOR TEAM

 There can be only one bot per team and maximum 4 team members in a team.
 During the Round, only maximum of two team members are allowed in the arena,

one member will control the robot and other to guide it.

BOT SPECIFICATIONS

 The Bot should fit in a box of dimensions 25cmX30cmX20cm. (Ht* l*b).
 Maximum allowable height of the bot is 25cm along with the mobile phone to be

clamped on it.

 The Bots have to be wired and no pre‐manufactured bots will be allowed.

 The connections of wires should be perfectly made, in case of any

failure to do the same would not be given a second chance to make any changes

in the bot once the bot is placed in the arena

 The teams are required to build a bot capable of moving forward reverse,

capable of making turns and climbing an incline.

 The wire should remain slack during the complete manoeuvring around the

track (Minimum 3 m).

 All the wires coming out of machine should be stacked as single unit and must be

properly insulated

 The Bot should have any source of light (like LED’s, Flashlight, Mobile Flash,etc.)

to traverse the darkness of the track.

About GAME

 Timer will start when robot starts from the starting point.
 The robot will be judged on basis of time to complete the track and bringing the t

arget to exit is must.
 The target can be pushed, clamped or lifted as per your convenience
 A set time limit will be declared by the organizers after which the teams who fail t

o reach the target object will be disqualified.
 If the bot stops in the middle of the track the team will not be given a second cha

nce and will be disqualified.
 Any breakdown or falling of objects from bot will lead to disqualification.
 In case of Disputes, organizers decision will be final.
 Organizers reserve the right to delay the event if the situation demands.
 Organizers reserve the right to bring changes in the rules if situation demands.

2. ARMAGEDDON

Flipping tusks, angel grinders, violent motors, the clatter of bots and a junk pile
of extirpated machines, it is the realisation of ARMAGEDDON - indulging the
mechanical gladiators in a deadly combat .
The stage is set, the biggest of all-TESSARACT.
“Seek and destroy”- As simple as it can get .It is a battle for glory. The fittest may or
may not survive but the smartest will.

Get ready for the ultimate showdown!

RULES AND REGULATION

TASK

Design a wired/wireless, manually controlled robot capable of overpowering its
opponent in a mechanical battle for glory.

GAMEPLAY

Teams shall compete against other teams which will be chosen at the discretion of
organizers by a specific procedure. The scoring shall be done by the referee
present at the arena. All ties shall be resolved according to the specified rules and
in case of force majeure situation; decision of organizers shall be final and binding.

RULES

TEAM SPECIFICATION AND ELIGIBILITY

Eligibility: Students of any recognized engineering college are eligible to
participate.

Team Specification: Any team can participate in ARMAGEDDON. A team may
consist of a maximum of 5 participants. These participants can be from same or
different institutes.

Team Name: Every team must have a name which must be unique. Organisers
reserve the right to reject entries from any Team whose name it deems
inappropriate, offensive or conflicting. Organizers must be notified if a team's name
has been changed.

Team Representative: Each team must specify their Team Representative
(Leader) at the time of registration on the website. All important communications
between organisers and the registered teams will be done through their Team

Representative. The Team Representatives must submit valid contact details
(phone no., email ID etc.) at the time of registration.

BOT SPECIFICATIONS

Dimensions and Fabrications

 The machine should fit in a box of dimension 750mm x 750mm x 750 mm (l x b x
h) at any given point during the match. The external device used to control the
machine or any external tank is not included in the size constraint.

 The machine should not exceed 50 kg of weight.
 In case of wireless robot if the battery is on-board then the weight will be taken

as (0.8 x Actual Weight)

Power Sources

 The machine can be powered electrically only. Use of an IC engine in any form is
not allowed.

 Each team must prepare its own power sources.
 The voltage difference between any two points in the machine should not be

more than 36V DC.
 All connections should be made safe to prevent short circuits and battery fires.

Any unsafe circuitry may be asked to be replaced; failure to do so will result in
disqualification.
 Use of damaged, non-leak proof batteries may lead to disqualification.
 Change of battery will not be allowed during the match.
 It is suggested to have extra batteries ready and charged up during competition
so that on advancing to next level, you don’t have to wait or suffer due to
uncharged battery. If teams don’t show up on allotted slot, they will be
disqualified.

Mobility

 All robots must have easily visible and controlled mobility mechanism in order to
compete.

 Methods of mobility may include:

1. Rolling (wheels, tracks or the whole robot).

2. Walking (linear actuated legs with no rolling or cam operated motion).

3. shuffling (rotational cam operated legs)

 Jumping and hopping is not allowed.

 Flying (using aero foil, helium balloons, ornithopters, etc.) is not allowed.
 Any other method of mobility which leads the robot to lose contact with the

ground is not allowed.

Robot Control Requirements

 Both wired and wireless remote controls are allowed in the event.
 All wires coming out of the robot should be bundled as a single unit.
 The wires should be properly protected and insulated.
 The wire should be sufficiently long so as to remain slack at all time during the

competition.
 In case of wireless remote controls, the remote should have at least two

frequency operations to prevent interference with other team.
 Teams are recommended to attach a pipe to bot in vertical direction through

which wires come out. The length of pipe will not be considered in bot dimension.

Weapon Systems

Robots can have any kind of cutters, flippers, saws, lifting devices, spinning hammers
etc. as weapons with following exceptions and limitations:

 Any kind of inflammable liquid / liquid projectiles.
 Smoke or dust based weapons
 Flame-based weapons.
 Any kind of explosive or intentionally ignited solid or potentially ignitable

solid.
 Nets, tape, glue, or any other entanglement device.
 High power magnets or electromagnets.
 Radio Jamming, Tasers, Tesla coils, or any other high-voltage device.
 Tethered or un-tethered projectiles.
 Spinning weapons which do not come in contact with the arena at any

point of time are allowed.
 Use of Pneumatics and Hydraulics is allowed.
 If pneumatics and hydraulics are employed then the following rules should

be adhered to-

Pneumatics

 Robot can use pressurized non-inflammable gases to actuate pneumatic
devices. Maximum allowed outlet nozzle pressure is 10 bar. The storage tank
and pressure regulators used by teams need to be certified.

 Participants must be able to indicate the used pressure with integrated or
temporarily fitted pressure gauge. Also there should be provision to check the
cylinder pressure on the bot.

 The maximum pressure in cylinder should not exceed the rated pressure at
any point of time.

 You must have a safe way of refilling the system and determining the on
board pressure. Liquid projectiles. Any kind of inflammable liquid.

 All pneumatic components on board a robot must be securely mounted. Care
must be taken while mounting the pressure vessel and armour to ensure that
if ruptured it will not escape the robot.

 Entire pneumatic setup should be on-board, no external input (from outside
the arena) can be given to the robot for functioning of its pneumatic system.

Hydraulics

 Robot can use non-inflammable liquid to actuate hydraulic devices e.g. cylinders.
 All hydraulic components on-board must be securely mounted. Special care must

be taken while mounting pump, accumulator and armour to ensure that if
ruptured direct fluid streams will not escape the robot.
 All hydraulic liquids are required to be non-corrosive and your device should be
leak proof. Maximum allowed pressure is 10 bars.
 Participant must be able to indicate the used pressure with integrated or
temporarily fitted pressure gauge.
 Entire hydraulic setup should be onboard, no external input (from outside the
arena) can be given to the robot for functioning of its hydraulic system.

General Rule

 Any team that is not ready at the time specified will be disqualified.
 The name of your machine must be prominently displayed on the machine.
 In no case should the arena be damaged by any bot. The competition will be

played on a knock-out basis.
 A BOT will be declared ‘KNOCKED-OUT’ if it is unable to travel a distance of 8

inches in 30 seconds.

 If no bot is immobilized then winner will be declared on the basis of
AGGRESSION, CONTROL, DAMAGE & STRATEGY.

 Any kind of aggressive action or use of abusive language by the team members
during the battle can lead to the disqualification of their bot.

 The organizers reserve the rights to change any or all of the above rules as they
deem fit. Change in rules, if any will be highlighted on the website and notified to
the registered teams.

 Violation of any of the above rules will lead to disqualification.
 Decision of organizers will be final and binding on all.

Safety Rules

Compliance with all event rules is mandatory. It is expected that competitors stay within
the rules and procedures of their own accord and do not require constant policing.

1. Special care should be taken to protect the on-board batteries, robot
without proper protection will not be allowed to compete.

2. If you have a robot or weapon design that does not fit within the categories
set forth in these rules or is in some way ambiguous or borderline, please
contact the event organizers. Safe innovation is always encouraged, but
surprising the organizers with your brilliant exploitation of a loophole may
cause your robot to be disqualified before it even competes.

3. Each event has safety inspections. It is at their sole discretion that your
robot is allowed to compete. As a builder you are obligated to disclose all
operating principles and potential dangers to the inspection staff.

4. Proper activation and deactivation of robots is critical. Robots must only
be activated in the arena, testing areas, or with expressed consent of the
event coordinators.

5. All weapons must have a safety cover on any sharp edges.
6. All participants build and operate robots at their own risk. Combat robotics

is inherently dangerous. There is no amount of regulation that can
encompass all the dangers involved. Please take care to not hurt yourself
or others when building, testing and competing. Any kind of activity
(repairing, battery handling, etc.) which may cause damage to the
surroundings during the stay of the teams in the competition area should
not be carried out without the consent of organizers. Not following this rule
may result in disqualification.
7. All the resources provided at the time of competition from the organizers
should be strictly used only after the consent of the organizers.
8. Once the robots have entered into the arena, no team member can enter
into the arena at any point of time. In case if a fight has to be halted in

between and some changes have to be done in the arena or condition on

the robot(s), it will be done by organizers only.

9. Participants must tie all the wires together properly and pass it through a

40 cm long solid pipe to avoid unnecessary cutting and tangling of wires of

the robots.

3. Flip Off

TASK

Design a robot that is capable of playing soccer in a team and compete against other
teams on the arena specially designed for this purpose. The event tests robot
handling, pushing/dragging mechanisms, team work and the various strategies and
counter- strategies employed during the game.

RULES

 A team should consist of 2 bots i.e. 2 groups. Each group can have a maximum
of 4 members.

 Teams can be decided before participation, else teams will be decided by chit
system.

 The ball should not be enclosed from more than 3 sides.

 Bots have to drag or push the ball towards the opponent's goal (no lifting,
grabbing or usage of adhesives is allowed).

 The duration of the knockout round would be 6 minutes. After half-time(3
minutes), teams would exchange sides, and the other team member will
maneuver the bot.

 In case of a technical difficulty, a team would be allowed a maximum timeout of 2
minutes. If it's unable to resolve the issue during the stipulated time, the team
would be disqualified.

 The team scoring maximum goals in 6 minutes, wins.

 In case of a tie, there would be a 'Golden Goal' round of 2 minutes. 1 machine
from each team would compete and the 1st team to score a goal would win.

 Mauling and hitting from behind would be considered as a foul. Blocking and
tackling is allowed.

 Negative playing will be judged by the organizer and the culprit team will be
penalized with a free kick.

 Each team must declare a name for their machine at the time of competition.
 In case of a dispute, the organizers' decision will be considered final and binding.

ROBOT SPECIFICATIONS:
 The robot should fit inside a box of 30cm*30cm*30cm at the starting point. It
must not exceed 30cm*30cm*40cm at any point of time during the run.
 The robot has to be WIRELESS.
 It is recommended that the robot should be self-powered (on board power
supply). However, external 12V DC power supply will also be provided on
demand.
 The weight of the bot should not exceed 5 kg.
 The machines you build will be first checked for size and safety.
 Coordinators have the right to disqualify any machine whose working
mechanism or game strategy is considered hazardous to humans, the arena or
other machines in the arena in any way.

ROUNDS:
 The preliminary round will consist of a qualifying knockout round.
 Number of further rounds will depend upon the number of teams clearing the
qualifying round.
 The final team will have a one on one amongst its 2 machines, for the first and
second prize respectively.

4. Tetris

The task is to build a bot with gripping mechanism so as to pick and place the Tetris
puzzle and also complete certain task midway to reach the tetris puzzle.

Task
 The participating teams must build a robot which can do the job of picking up blocks

and dropping them in specified zones in proper orientation.
 The bot should also be able to overcome discontinuities and slopes.
 The bot can be wired or wireless. In case the participants use wireless mechanism,

they must use dual frequency remote.

RULES
Level 1

 Maximum time given to each team is 15 min.
 The bot is not allowed to slide the blocks, in case of violation, the team is liable

for the penalty.
 In case the bot gets stuck at any place and at any point of time, then the block it

is carrying (if any) will be placed back to its initial position and the bot will be
placed back to the starting line.
 In case a change of battery is required, the team will be penalized a minute and
the bot will be put back to the starting point (but need not to restart the task). The
timer won’t be stopped even during the change of battery.
 The balance will be adjusted to open the gate completely by 8 to 9 blocks placed
successfully.

 Any damage done to the blocks or the arena will lead to the immediate

disqualification/penalty.

Level 2

 Maximum time given to each team is 20 min.
 Each team will be allowed first to solve the Tetris by themselves.
 The bot is not allowed to slide the blocks, in case of violation, the team is liable

for the penalty.
 In case a change of battery is required, the team will be penalized a minute and

the bot will be put back to the starting point (but need not to restart the task). The
timer won’t be stopped even during the change of battery.
 In case the bot gets stuck at any place and at any point of time, then the block it
is carrying (if any) will be placed back to its initial position and the bot will be
placed back to the starting line.

 Any damage done to the blocks or the arena will lead to the immediate
disqualification/penalty.

General Rules
1. The machine would be checked for its safety before the run and will be disqualified if
found unsafe for other participants.
2. Only one team member is allowed to handle the bot. Other team members are not
allowed to enter the arena.
The teams must adhere to the spirit of healthy competition.
3. Organizers reserve the right to disqualify any team indulging in misbehavior or
violating any rules.
4. Any team that is not ready at the specified time will be disqualified from the
competition automatically.
5. The time measured by the organizers will be final and will be used for scoring the
teams.
6. Time measured by any contestant by any means will not be accepted for scoring.
7. In case of any disputes/discrepancies, the organizers’ decision will be final and
binding.
8. The organizers reserve the rights to change any or all of the above rules as they
deem fit. Change in rules, if any will be highlighted on the website and notified to the
registered teams.

ARENA

ARENA FOR ROUND 1-

The tunnel below the gate will allow only to pass a robot that matches the bot
specifications.

ARENA FOR ROUND 2-

Outer dimensions of arena 2 are 300cm X 300cm. Following are the detailed
specifications- The central part of the arena will be for completing the Tetris game of
dimension 90cm X 90cm with enough space in between to arrange the blocks given.

It will be a 6unit X 6unit Tetris game with 1 unit = 15cm X 15cm. The block will have a
minimum dimension of 2unit.

It will be spread around the central Tetris zone.

SPECIFICATIONS

Bot specifications
 The dimensions of the bot should be less than or equal to 300 mm X 300 mm X
300 mm at the start of the game failing which the team will be disqualified from
the competition. However the bot can extend its dimension once the run starts.
 The bot should be controlled manually.
 Teams can use both wired as well as wireless control mechanisms. In case of
wired bots, the length of wire should be minimum 2 meters so that the wire
remains slack at any instant of time. If the participants use wireless mechanism
then it is mandatory to use a dual frequency remote.
 The dimensions of the remote are not included in the size constraint of the bot.
 Bot must have an on-board power supply in any case.
 Participants are not supposed to use any readymade lego components or
readymade gripping mechanism. However the participants are allowed to use
readymade gear assemblies. Violating this clause will lead to immediate
disqualification of the team.
 Irrespective of the mechanism used, only one person will be allowed to control
the bot.

Power Supply:
 The participants should use an onboard electric or non-electric power supply i.e.

the power source should be on the bot itself. The power source must be non-

polluting and must satisfy the safety constraints determined by the organisers. In
case of non-electric power supply, the participants must get it approved from the
organisers beforehand via email. Organizers are not responsible for the
inconvenience if the approval is not sought.
 In case of an electric power supply, the voltage between any two points should
be less than or equal to 24 V DC at all times during the run.
 AC power supply will not be provided at the time of the competition.
 The DC batteries should count in the maximum weight for the bot and therefore
should be placed along with the bot.

Gameplay:
Round 1
The Bot must start from the start line.
The Bot is allowed to pick only one block at a time from the starting point.
Bot is supposed to climb the slope along with block.
Enough load must be added in the drop down area of the barricade, in order to lift it
enough till the safe height, for the bot to cross it.
The bot is then supposed to go down the slope (having obstacles).
Thereafter the bot needs to enter a semi-circular region so as to reach a small tunnel
which opens at the finish line.
ROUND 2
The bot must start from the START line.

The participants must find a way to cover the bounded 6x6 unit area within
the arena with the blocks spread over.

The bot is allowed to pick only one block at a time. Order of the blocks to be picked is
left completely at the discretion of the participants.
The bot should pick the blocks and place them to cover bounded area.
The bot is not allowed to drag the blocks.
The blocks will be of different sizes as in the game of tetris.

Team Specifications:
A team may consist of a maximum of 5 members. Students from different educational
institutes can form a team.

Resources
The bot can use a holding mechanism similar to the one shown in

Participants can create their own mechanism to complete the task as long as it does not
damage the arena or the blocks.

Sorriso

1. GUEST WORKSHOP

During the fest, Sorisso conducts a photography workshop and invites renown
photographers from around the country. The photographers pick a subject according to
their will to pass their knowledge regarding it to the interested students.

Rules

 No participant attending the workshop is supposed to leave the workshop mid-

way.

 Participants are required to bring their own cameras and other necessary

equipments.

 The club is not responsible for any damage or mis-placement of personal

belongings.

Registration fees:

PDPU Students: 150/- per team.

Non-PDPU Students: 200/- per team.

2. LIVE STUDIO

The design team of the club puts up a live studio for all three days. You wouldn't want to
miss out an opportunity to get your memories in hand and cherish them.

Rules:

 As the studio is hand-made, visitors visiting the studio are requested not to touch
it.

 The studio will be open for all three days and members of the club will be present
there at all times. Incase no one is at the studio, you are requested not to touch
and thereby cause damage.

3. PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION

A week before the fest, the club spreads the news of a photography contest over social
media and to the students of the college. The club picks up a theme and interested
people are expected to send their clicked picture to the club. The best photographer is
awarded and the pictures sent are exhibited near the live studio.

Rules:

 No watermark is allowed.
 Work must be original.
 Plagiarism will not be entertained.
 Participants are requested to abide by the theme.
 No late submissions will be accepted.

1. Competition Method: 5 vs. 5 (Team Play, 5 players per team.
2. Victory Condition: The first team to win 16 rounds will be declared winner.
3. Official Maps: de_dust2, de_inferno, de_nuke
a- There will be a toss to decide which map to play. Winner eliminates 1 map and the
opponent eliminates 1, remaining map shall be played. There will be a knife round to
decide the side (CT\T).
b- The Server Master will record the demo of the match (Quarter Final onwards).
4. General Game Setting: Rounds: 30 Rounds (Max rounds format): Each Team plays
15 rounds as Terrorists and 15 rounds as Counter-Terrorists.
5. Round Time: 1 minute 45 seconds.
6. C4 Timer: 35 seconds.
7. Players are expected to bring their gaming accessories. (Keyboard, Mouse-optional)
8. Default skins must be used.
9. Any other use of map or program bugs can result in a warning at the minimum or loss
by default for the offending team after deliberation and decision by the board of referees
at its sole discretion.
10. Basic configuration files(CFG) will be allowed with no illegal scripts.
11. Final match will be “BEST OF THREE MAPS”

Unfair Practices Subject to Penalty:

 A player can only be on one team, meaning that you cannot play for two different
clans in the competition.

 Team members may communicate verbally if they are alive in the match or when
all team members are dead.

 The player is deemed dead when the screen is completely faded to black. If a
bug occurs and the screen doesn't fade to black, the player is deemed dead
three seconds after he/she has fallen.

 C4 must be installed at a viewable location. Installing C4 at a location where a
boost is required is allowed.

 Silent C4 installation may result to disqualification.
 Any use of the flash bang bug will result in a -3 round score for the offending

team. If the use of the bug is decided as unintentional, the game continues as
normal.
 Gay gun ( Krieg 550 commando and D3/AU-1 ) and Shield are not allowed.Use
of these weapons results in -1 round score for the offending team.

 Use of unfair but available scripts (e.g. silentrun, attack+use, centerview script,
norecoil script, etc.) will have the offending team disqualified with no further
consideration.

 HLTV Proxy will join the game servers for Tournament Broadcast .

1. Sky – Gazing

Sky – Gazing is an event where amateurs come with an astronomical interest to
observe the night sky unveil its magic. These observations are generally
accomplished with the naked eye or with basic optical aids such as telescope.
With the help of these instruments, many celestial objects can be viewed and
adored.
Rules and Regulations:

 No boys or girls are allowed to roam around the campus.
 No one is allowed to move or touch the telescope or other basic optical

aids without prior permission. These instruments are expensive and only
meant for Sky – Gazing.
 In and around the session, no one is allowed to bring flashlights or light
emitting objects because it might harness the Sky watching process.

 Guest Lecture

Astronomy/Cosmology is an everyday expanding knowledge; it never gets
completely traversed like an infinite universe. This year, Brahmand, the
astronomy club of PDPU is presenting another enlightening outsource of cosmic
knowledge – a Guest Lecture in this Tesseract-2017, where students will have a
chance to quench their curiosity and interact with the lecturer. At the end, Q&A
will be held so you can clear your head.

 Astro Hunt

The Astro Hunt is a competition between teams participating and trying to be the
first one to find the clue and lead the competition.
The clues given will consist of basic astronomical ideas and facts.
Rules and Regulations
1. Each team will have 5 members.
2. Each team has to announce a leader at the time of registration.

3. Each team will be given a name and all the clues for the team will be represented
by that name.

4. Members are allowed to use their mobile phones and internet for the clues.
5. The clues are to be found in a particular order. A team cannot skip a clue.

Skipping a clue leads to disqualification of the team.
6. An entire team must stay together. It cannot split up to find different clues. If a

team splits, it will be disqualified.
7. All the clues of the teams are different and located at different places but the final

destination is same. The team finds the last clue and reaches the 'final
destination' wins.
8. There is a time limit of 2 hours for all the competing teams to find the last clue the
reach the final destination.

Green Parliament

The Green Parliament simulation at Tesseract, the technical fest of Pandit
Deendayal Petroleum University is an attempt to provide a platform to the
participants to engage in political debate, conflict resolution and a broad
exchange of ideas, especially regarding the environmental concerns in the
country.
RULES
 Seating of the Members: All the members will be seated according to a random
seating arrangement, as there is no ruling party or opposition party, but only the
union ministers.
 Language: Speeches can be delivered in either English or Hindi.
 Procedure: The proceedings shall start with the National Anthem. This shall be
followed by the Oath of the Speaker.
 Motion to Set Agenda: Format: The Minister/Representative of ______ would like
to raise a motion to set the agenda as(agenda).
 Motion for Roll Call: The names of all members present in the House shall be
called out by the Speaker, to check who all are present, and the number of
requisite votes for simple and substantive majority shall be established.
 Opening Statements: Formal debate begins with the first round of opening
statements. Four delegates are allotted a time period of 120 seconds each to
deliver their respective addresses. The ministries of those four delegates will be
informed on the day of the event.

SHAMIANA is India's dedicated and fastest growing short film club. SHAMIANA
arranges a monthly line up of the greatest short films from different parts of India and

Shamiana, from the last three years, as part of film appreciation initiative by Video
Graphics Association, we intend to put up Academy Award nominated movies for
viewing and appreciation this year too.

of team members along with their role in the making of the movie) must be
submitted before the specified date.

7. The accepted extensions for the movie will be .avi, .mp4, .wmv, .mpeg, .mpg

or .vob

8. The use of high resolution camera is recommended. Movies will be

subjected to rejection if the quality is extremely low.

9. Subtitles are recommended if the movie is in any regional language.

10. The decision of the jury will be final.

CODE SPY

A technical partial treasure hunt type coding event on C/C++ and JAVA platform. The
event will make the participants to scratch their brains and check the skill of logic
development. The event will be conducted in 2 rounds.1st round will be the elimination
test followed by a hard core coding round. The clues of coding round will be in the
campus. The wining team will be awarded a cash prize of INR 5000, 1st runners up INR
3000 and the second runners up INR 2000. A total of INR 10000 is at stake.

The competition will have two rounds.

 General Questionnaire Round:
 Time span for this round: 45 mins
 This will be paper & pen examination type round.
 The team will be selected for the final round based on the performance in
this round of individual participants.
 Based on maximum right answers i.e. total of the individuals in the team,
the team will be selected for the next round.

 Code SPY round:
 This will be proper coding competition on computer.
 The finalists will be given a set of coding problems for which they will
have to write correct compilable codes.There will be some data missing
which they will have to search from the campus by using the hints. The
participant writing the maximum number of correct codes in the given time
will be the winner.
 Use of coding language to solve problems : C/C++ and JAVA
 Time span for this round: 2 hours
 Three teams will be selected as winners for the maximum right answers
and they will be awarded.

EVENT DESCRIPTION: When you look at the sky with your eyes gleaming onto a
four armed freak stabilized in midair, you seek to follow its path from scratch to the
winners’ glory- Your glory. The load of the mellifluous music of a flying vehicle
buzzing to perform the assigned tasks and to bear the impossible is now on you.
When the propellers call to complain of their dormancy there is no such thing left
which can be called as defeat. Participate to express your aerodynamics skills and
to rule the sky.

Competition will comprise of 3 rounds:-

 Second round (Stunt performance round)

FOR TEAM:

1. There can be only one DRONE per team.

1. If the drone stops in the middle of its flight the team will not be given a
