Welcome to

8 0 s NIGHT

2021 Dinner Auction

Welcome to our 2021 Dinner Auction! This annual event is always our largest
fundraiser of the year and this year, more than ever before, it will give us two much
needed gifts - fun and funds!

The glittering spirit of this event is intended to lift us over the austere days of pandemic
protocols and give us an evening where we can view a bright and glowing future. It is a
time to reconnect, celebrate, and become excited about all that is ahead!

It is also a time for us to generously support our incredible school. During the last
months, due to COVID-19, we have incurred unexpected expenses. Every dollar
we needed to spend was carefully used to keep our students learning, growing, and
playing in person. Now, as we enjoy the Dinner Auction, we can also do our part and
help with the costs for such things as desk shields, temperature kiosks, and bi-polar
ionizations air systems!

This year was also a challenging year for us as we worked to finish our fundraising
goal for our new fitness center. Our 2021 Dinner Auction will help us complete this
fundraising and give our students an outstanding place to use as they continue to grow
to be healthy and strong young people.

It is not easy to put on a sparkling party amidst COVID; but our 2021 Dinner Auction
Chair, Sarah Slaughter and her crew of volunteers, met that challenge with gracious
determination. All of Brookfield Academy thanks you for your stamina, creativeness,
and love for our students and our school.

Our BA community has always been generous to Brookfield Academy and we are
grateful. This year, we hope you will reach beyond whatever you have done in the past
and make this the most successful Dinner Auction ever!

Greetings and Salutations,
Welcome to the 2021 Brookfield Academy Dinner Auction!
We are so glad you are spending the evening with us, whether here on campus, or
online at home. THANK YOU to the volunteers and staff who made this night possible.
THANK YOU to our sponsors and donors for helping us "Get BAck to our Future!"
This 1980s' night has been brought to you by a team who have been behind the scenes
working on data entry, soliciting ads for the program and items for our auction, selling
raffle tickets, and designing and creating the look and feel of this totally awesome
experience. Let's enjoy ourselves and raise a glass (AND OUR PADDLES) to BA!
Here's to our teachers who have been in class so that our students could also be in class.
Here's to being courageous and moving forward in uncertainty. Here's to demanding
excellence, even when things are different, and meeting the challenge. Here's to our
kids who have adapted and carried on, regardless. This event is for all of them.
Please be generous in what you can give, and do know that all of tonight's proceeds
go directly to BA to support our teachers and students. It was an easy decision for me
to chair this event, and it has been an honor to work for all of you.
Warmly,
Sarah Slaughter

WARNING!

Contracting with Kanavas for Lawn Care,
Landscaping Services, Mosquito Control or
any of their other fine services is likely to
result in excessive exuberance, euphoria
and/or feelings of extreme satisfaction.
In many cases, exponential improvements
in quality and quantity of time spent
enjoying impeccable lawns, patios, fire pits,
gardens and other spaces has been reported.
Kanavas users may also experience the
acute envy of neighbors, friends and family.
However, referring said individuals to
Kanavas themselves is a simple solution that
will heighten everyone’s excitement and
enthusiasm. Schedule an appointment
today and see what the company that’s
been maintaining landscapes like yours for
nearly 50 years can do for you!
