Steps.
1. Place the paper clips next to the ruler so that they are in line.
2. Place the magnet at a fixed distance in front of the paper clip.
3. Move the magnet towards the paper clip and stop when the magnet pulls the paper clip.

Steps
1. Cut newspapers, kitchen tissues and cloths to the same size.
2. Stick the piece of object on a skewer.
3. Dip a piece of object into a beaker containing colored water. Leave for 1 minute.
4. Observe the limit of colored water absorbed by all three objects.

Steps
1. Line the table with paper.
2. Place two tablespoons of garden soil on the paper.
3. Observe the garden soil using a magnifying glass.
4. Separate the garden soil according to its contents using forceps.
5. Repeat Steps 1 through 4 for sandy soils.
6. Record the observations obtained into a table.
