This action research was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of the Briefcase Language Game method to improve KV + KVK syllable word reading skills among Preschool students. The respondents in this study consisted of eight students from the Pre Byte 2 Preschool class, namely four male students and four female students. Data were collected through observations as well as pre-test and post-test. The results of the data analysis found that all respondents showed a significant increase in marks in the post test compared to the pre test. All respondents showed an encouraging increase in marks. There were three respondents who achieved very good levels. Next, two respondents achieved good levels. Meanwhile, three more respondents reached a moderate level. The results show that the method of game in Briefcase very effective in helping children master reading KV + KVK and also prevent the involvement of children in teaching and learning English. The next study proposal is to restructure the Briefcase by including the suspension elements in the Briefcase to make it more challenging and fun.
