Part of Speech is classification of words by
grammar based on their role and function

•Part of Speech have 8 types

Part of Speech can be divided into 8 types

1. Noun 5. Adverb

2. Pronouns 6. Preposition

3. Verb 7. Conjunction

4. Adjective 8. Interjection

1.Noun Example Noun in sentence

Noun (n.) is a term used to refer to a person, Noun can be also Subject, object or complement in sentence
animal, thing, place or Abstraction ➢Noun be a subject = Susie can write very fast.
➢Name of people, animal, place ➢Noun be an object = I bought a new car last month.
➢Noun be a complement = My cousin in a student.

7.Conjunction

A conjunction (an abbreviation conj.) Is a word
that joins a word, phrase, or sentence, such as
and, but, while, although.

Examples of conjunction in a sentence
• I love mom and dad.
• He hates math, but he loves biology.
• Anne called me while I was driving.

8.Interjection (interjection)

Interjection (interj.) Is a short word used to express
emotions, such as oh, hey, ouch, wow, if compared
to Thai words, such as oh-oh-oh-oh-oh

Examples of interjection in sentences
• Oh! I thought you would not come.
• Wow! Everyone is so good-looking.
• Ouch! My hand hurts.
