Matthew 9:36 "When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them,
because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.”

Jesus travelled through all the towns and cities of that area, teaching in the places of worship and announcing the Good News
about the Kingdom. In these towns, he was met by crowds of people. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them,
because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Jesus began teaching the people about the Gospel and
as he was teaching, there were many who were amazed, as well as others who scoffed at his teachings. Jesus was amazed at their
hardened hearts. Along with teaching, Jesus also performed miracles, healing every kind of disease and illness of the people.

Mark 1:40-41 “40 And a leper came to him, imploring him, and kneeling said to him, “If
you will, you can make me clean.” 41 Moved with pity, he stretched out his hand and
touched him and said to him, “I will; be clean.”

In one of the villages, large crowds followed Jesus. Suddenly, a man with leprosy
approached him and knelt before him. Those who had leprosy were outcasted from
society and considered to be incredibly unclean, spiritually and physically. Leprosy causes
the body to rot and decay over time, where body parts are deteriorating slowly. This man
bowed before Jesus, begging to be healed.  “Lord,” he said, “if you are willing, you can
heal me and make me clean.” Moved with compassion, Jesus reached out and touched
