LeSalon is London's leading on-demand beauty service, bringing mobile
treatments to people’s homes and office. It's often hard to find time for oneself
in a fast-paced city like London, but we have partnered with LeSalon for
corporate sessions to allow you to fit a manicure, pedicure or 15 minute back &
shoulder massage into your working day.

An e-mail, with a link, sent every last working day of the month will take you
straight to LeSalon's booking system. Each month will be alternating with
manicures and massages. Simply click the link, select your treatment and time

So, as our commitment to you, we are happy to announce that we’ll
subsidise over a third of the monthly membership fee to the local
Nuffield gym conveniently located just by Harbour Exchange
Square.

The monthly fee is £59/month and we will contribute £20 of this,
meaning you’ll pay a reduced rate of £39/month directly from your
salary. What’s even better is that the standard £30 joining fee will
be waived – a fantastic deal negotiated just for giant staff.

This modern gym is spread over 2 floors, has a selection of cardio
machines, a large free weights area, a heated tranquil 25m

Flexible working is a way of working that suits you, for example it might
be having flexible start and finish times or working from home or a
combination of the two. You may have childcare or caring commitments
or you just don’t want to miss your child sports day.

We want to be flexible too!

Clearly certain roles would not be suitable for flexible working. If you
need to be supervised, if there is a security risk over the data that you
use, or your role is just not suitable it may not be possible.

The Employee Assistance Programme is available by phone 24/7 for all
registered giant advantage users. The service provides support for any
personal, business or family issue you may be facing.
Trained counsellors offer expert advice, emotional support and guidance. Calls
are strictly confidential and you can choose to remain anonymous if you wish.
You will only be asked to provide the name of your employer, giant.
Talk to highly qualified counsellors about anything. This could include:

eyesight test

Employees can request reimbursement for an eyesight test,
conducted by an optometrist or doctor, up to the value of £35.
This includes additional tests periodically, the optometrist
performing the initial test can advise on the frequency.

The Company will pay for glasses up to the amount of £50 if
they are required only for the distance at which the screen is
viewed i.e. they are prerequisite for the user to operate the
VDU.

Written confirmation from

Salary sacrifice is when you agree to exchange part of your
salary so you can get benefits such as pension, childcare
vouchers, new bicycles, and leasing a car. Your overall cost is
reduced because you do not pay Tax or National Insurance on
part of the salary you have given up.

mentor up to 2 stand-out employees each over a fixed time period.

This developmental relationship will help develop those of you selected to

We believe that developing from within is important. So giant training
is designed to give you the opportunities you need to progress as an
individual and develop your career. There are various courses
available, training is based in the giant workplace and it’s available to
all of our employees – including senior managers.

Each course is role-relevant - the training you receive will depend on
your job family. Training covers areas such as business, customer
service and leadership and management as well as specialisms
including HR and finance. As you progress within giant different
opportunities will become available to you.

The key training will be delivered by our partner, Lifetime Training.

our Employee Referral Bonus Scheme. Refer qualified candidates to
come and work with us and as a “thank you,” once they have
successfully passed their probation, we will offer you a bonus payment
of £500.

In order to be eligible for the referral bonus, you need to have passed
your probation and refer a candidate who hasn’t previously applied for
a role at giant.
