In this paper I will be discussing the original modern family and
the new age “counterfeit” modern family and the tolls that it will
take on children in years to come.

This picture shows the traditional modern family. Marriage between a
man and a women and their kids. This picture argues my point. That
marriage is sacred and holy and was meant to between one man and on
women. Not multiple wives or husbands and not between two women
or two men. I picked this image because I thought it was the most well-

This journal talks about children’s future with homosexual marriage and how it
may not be the best for kids. I believe that is why we will still be
talking about gay marriage in ten years. It has always been said that
children do better in a home with a father and a mother. A man and a
woman. If that is stripped from our children, then what does the future
of our kids look like? If we are not giving them the best to succeed.
Then it will also raise the question of who their real parents are and
how they got there and why their real parents we willing to not have
them as their own.

In this article it completely confirms my argument. That gay marriage effects our kids
more then we typically realize. And that it can lead to the hardship of our children.

In about the last ten to fifteen years the definition of the modern
family has changed greatly. The question is, is it for the better?
Things evolve with time, that’s just nature. But this particular
matter did not just evolve. Gay marriage was forced down
everyone’s throat. Whether we liked it or not we had to except it
or be charged with being a homophobic. Gay marriage in my eyes
is not right, however, I am taking a completely different view of it
now. I am not just seeing it from a biblical since. I am seeing it in
the eye of our children. How does this effect our kids? What will
they learn from it? Will it slow down our population? Will we
forfeit our kids wellbeing just so we are happy?

One man and one woman, married with children was formally
known as the modern family. However, society thought that it
was too unfair. Even though that is the way it is supposed to be
seeing that it is the way God made it. If God had intended for the
same sex to be together then he would have made it so they could
reproduce. But a man and a man cannot do so, nor a woman and
woman. That is why God made Adam and Eve, not Adam and
Steve, nor Leslie and Eve. He made Adam and Eve. One man and
one woman to be together.

I thoroughly understand that love is love and sometimes you
cannot always control who you love. But sometimes just because
you love someone does not mean it is right or that you both
belong together. In the particular situation same sex should not
be married because it hinders the kids and the population of the
world.

When you first teach kids about sex or reproduction you do not
show them videos or pictures of two men or two women. You
show them one man and one woman. That is the only way that
you will ever make children. That is the way God made it. But if
you take that away and have two men with a baby or two women
with a baby it will mess with their understqaanding. Up until
recently that was not a problem. But now we have gays and
lesbians married or coupled and they want kids. Well that raises
an issue since they cannot conceive one of their very own. So
either they adopt or they buy a surrogate. A surrogate has shown
to raise multiple red flags. For one you have to pick one and
research the person. Even after research you still never really
know the person nor their genes and traits that can be passed on
to the child. There was a show made about kids that were born
from surrogates. They wanted know who their other real parent
was. Being that it was a woman or a man. The women were a little
hard to find but the men were not. The kids could trace the father
and also their other siblings. Meaning that their dad had given
multiple sperm samples to multiple couples. Decisions like these
do not just effect the adults in the situation. It greatly impacts the
children

indifference to whether families contain both a mother and a
father.5 Such legal and cultural indifference, they fear, would
further erode the norm of childrearing by both biological parents;

Rauch, 4) studies have shown that more children can end up
fatherless because of same sex marriage. Society already has
enough fatherless children and there are a studies that show a
significant percentage of kids from fatherless homes end up on a
bad path and can end up in prison. We do not need more of our
children locked away. And that can be a result of children in a
same sex marriage family.

‘Supporters of same sex marriage think that children really just
need love, but this is not the case. Research shows that the ideal
family structure for children is to be raised by both a mother and
a father. Only this traditional type of family gives children the
chance to relate to both a same-sex parent and a parent of the
opposite sex. Although the research on same-sex parenting is very
limited, some of it suggests that children raised in same-sex
household will be more likely to be sexually confused and to
experiment with sex. Also if same-sex marriage is allowed, it
opens the door for other types of non-traditional marriage.’ This is
also another reason why same sex marriage should not be legal
and should not be recognized as the new age modern family. New
generations are going to be lost and confused sexually if this
continues.

As aforementioned, the modern family is supposed to represent
one man and one woman and their children. Not two men or two
women and their surrogates. We as a nation need to really think
about the consequences of such an act and if we really want to
take such chances with our kids and this new generation. As
parents we should always want the best for our kids. And same
sex marriage is not what is best for our kids.
