Who is eligible to participate in Intramurals?
All students, faculty and staff with a valid YCP ID are eligible to participate in Intramurals. Varsity
athletes are not eligible for participation in any related sports within the academic year they were on
a varsity roster. A player who begins an intercollegiate season on a roster but does not finish the
season as a member of that team is still considered a varsity athlete for that academic year.
How do I sign up for an Intramural sport/event?
All registration takes place online at IMLeagues (www.imleagues.com/ycp). Once participants create
an account and they may register for a sport/event.
*Download REC*IT app for your smartphone to sync with your IMLeagues account!
What is the difference in the skill level between the "A" and "B" divisions?
The “A” division is more competitive, while the “B” division is the more recreational, “fun” division. A
player may only play in one skill-level per division.
Is there a fee to participate?
Each team is required to pay a forfeit deposit by the designated deadline (shown on IMLeagues when
creating a team). If your team doesn’t forfeit a game during the season, this deposit will be returned
at the end of the season.
What if I don't have enough people to form a team, can I still sign up?
Yes! One of the nice features about IMLeagues is you can sign up as a Free Agent and contact teams
that are looking for players.
What about time conflicts with our game schedule?
Through IMLeagues each team has the capability of selecting time preferences. We then try our best
to meet these requests.
Where and when do we play?
Location varies for each sport and can be found in the sport specific rules on IMLeagues. Indoor
sports take place in the Grumbacher Sport & Fitness Center and outdoor sports usually take place on
main campus.
What do we win?
The winner of each sport/event will receive the coveted Intramural Champions t-shirt. Other prizes
are also awarded throughout the year.
How do I become an Intramural official?
Check Spartan Career Path for postings throughout the year. We typically hire at the end of the
academic year for the next year.
What’s the best way to stay up-to-date on Intramural events?
The best way to stay up-to-date with Intramural information is to download the REC*IT app – this
puts all IMLeagues information at your fingertips. You can also “Like” the YCP Grumbacher Sport &
Fitness Center page on Facebook or follow @YCPGrum on Twitter. Along with this, you can check
registration dates on the Intramurals website, look for flyers around campus and postings on the
MyYCP portal.
All intramural participants will be required to create an account on IMLeagues.com.

CLUB SPORTS
Did you play sports in high school? Do you still have the
desire to compete?
If so, York College Club Sports might be exactly what you are looking
for - the ability to compete against outside competition (local clubs,
other college and universities, etc.) without the time demands of a
varsity sports team. We
offer a variety of sports on the club level, each varying in their level of
competition and intensity. These student-run organizations provide a
great opportunity for members to enhance their leadership skills,
responsibility, and teamwork.
