As we embarked on this journey to be able to honour my mother, although this was
something we have done many times before, this one seemed different.

I have always understood the importance of the philanthropy my
mother has continued since Louis’ passing. Understanding that his memory is

a blessing to many people including our family. To the world, my mother
is a force, a powerful Woman who is firm in her convictions and
knows exactly how and what she wants done.

Together with Stephanie and my children, we understand the responsibility
of carrying forward both Gabi and Louis’ legacy through Bar ilan and the community.
We understand the importance of the commitment to bettering the lives of others

and empowering future generations. It is our honour and privilege to have
learned so deeply this importance and responsibility. 

To you, Ima, as you look through this book we hope that you always
know how very much you are respected, admired and adored for the work you do
throughout the community. From your family, may you always know that we love you,

we thank you and we provide our solemn promise to continue this
deeply important work for many generations to come.
