PROFILE
I am a student who is pursing study in
education field (BTESL) with a vision of
exposing the beauty of the English
language among second language
learners. Moreover, preparing my self for
the upcoming internship in secondary
school in gaining experience
MICROTEACHING
Personal Principle in
Teaching
A noble profession, teaching. One enters the
teaching profession not for the money but for
the satisfaction of seeing a student's eyes light
up when they grasp a concept you've taught
them or come up with a solution to a problem
on their own with your help. Teachers act as
catalysts for activity both inside and outside the
classroom. The highest praise comes from a
former pupil who approaches you on the bus or
in the market and says something to the effect
of, "You really helped me learn." Passion should
be used when teaching. When you notice that
some of your students are struggling to
understand a certain concept, you should be
prepared to adapt new teaching strategies to
help them. I believe that the teacher should
serve as a guide so that the student can select
his preferred learning style. He ought to impart
lessons from his experiences that are essential
for living. Students are always teaching teachers
new things. The most recent praise comes from
a parent who said, "I really appreciate the efforts
you and your husband have made in educating
my daughter to become a good doctor."
Overall Reflection of
Microteaching
A teacher training method known as
microteaching gives teachers the chance
to sharpen their teaching abilities by
enhancing the various straightforward
tasks referred to as teaching skills.
Microteaching supports the growth of in-
person teaching experiences thanks to
its success with both beginners and older
students. The fundamental abilities of
microteaching, such as presentation and
reinforcement skills, aid new teachers in
mastering the craft of instruction with
ease and to the fullest. Microteaching is a
method used in teacher education to
develop teaching abilities. It uses actual
teaching situations to hone skills and
aids in learning more deeply about the
teaching craft. This Stanford method
involved the steps of "plan, teach,
observe, re-plan, re-teach, and re-
observe."

4TH JULY 2022
As this is the first class of this subject
which is Microteaching i was excited and
nervous to learn this subject. For this
class Madam Nirmala explained about the
SOW of this subject. Then started with
Topic 1 which is Introduction of
Microteaching. She also explained about
the role of CEFR. It was interesting .

Madam Nirmala moved to important
topic which is DSKP because it a basic
knowledge that we have to know . She
explained everything in detaild about this
DSKP. She also taught us how to write a
proper Lesson plan one by one. I got a
clear understanding on the lesson.

This is the first tutorial class for
m.icroteaching subject. My tutorial lecturer
is Madam Izzati. Madam gave us a task
which is find the role of CEFR, objectives
and aim. It was a group work and once we
have done we have to present the points in
front of the class. It was a useful and
knowledgeable task.

For today Madam Nirmala taught us
Tpic 2 which is teaching and learning
objectives and the role. I also learned
about (SMART) technic As learning part
madam gave us a group task which is
we have to create a short story based of
blooms texonomy leavels.

Today's task for tutorial is we have to create
learning standard and content standard
based on the skill and topic we have chose.
This is a group task. This activity helps to
enhance writing skills on how to write
content and learning standard. We also
played quiz at end of the session.

The venue of tutorial class venue changed
to sess meeting room. Madam Izzati
asked us to present on what we have
done for the previous tutorial class. She
also asked us to complete the lesson plan
activity which was given on last week's
tutorial class.

Madam Nirmala taught us Topic 3 which is
Set Induction for today's lecture class. This
topic is about how to conduct set induction
session in lesson plan and in classroom. It
also contained how to create a impactful
set induction in lesson plan and conduct it.
Set induction to attract students' attention
and interest on the topic or lesson.

Today's lecture class is about Teaching
Aids in Teaching Language. This topic is
basically about teaching aids. Such as
purpose of teaching aids, types and
learning pyramid. This lesson is really
helpful for me and i have understand
how important it is.

attend today's tutorial class,
another lecturer replaced her.
We were given a task from

We were asked to bring manila card, color
papers, scissor and few more things
during last lecture class. So we brought
them for today's tutorial class. Madam
Izzati asked us to create teaching aids
based on the topic we chose. It was a
group task. It is really fun and good
experience.

This is our 4th week of lecture, Madam
Nirmala taught us Stimulus Variation
topic. This topic is about how to keep the
pupils engage at the same time they must
able to learn and the factors. I have
gained benefits from today's lecture.

For today's lesson is about topic 5 which is
Questioning Techniques. This topic is all
about how to question to introduce the
topic of the day to pupils. There is also
blooms taxonomy level in this technique.
Usually we can use this technique during
set induction.

Today's tutorial class was replaced by
Madam Nirmala. We were given a task
which is we have to choose a topic and
create questions based on blooms
taxonomy level. We have to work in group.
Once complete need to present in front of
the class. Madam give feedbacks after the
we presented group by group.

For today's lecture class Madam Nirmala
started to lecture about topic 6 which is
Reinforcement Strategies. There is 2 types
of reinforcer which are positive and
negative. She also taught us the benefits
of using positive reinforcement in
classroom. Today's lesson will help me in
future to apply this strategies during my
internship as well.

I have learned how to write a impactful
closure in lesson from todays lecture
class. Madam Nirmala explained on the
role of closure, importance, purposes and
how to do a closure in fun way. After the
lecture she gave us a task which is
identify a topic and suggest 5 ways we
would do closure for the topic. We have
to work in group as w
ell.

Project 1 (group)
On this tutorial class me and my
groupmates were presented on our
project 1. Project 1 is we have to create
one physical teaching aid and lesson plan
for each skill. I have chose writing skill and
created the teaching aid based on this
skill. During presentation we just
explained the acitivies briefly and showed
them how to use the teaching aids. i hope
we did our best.

MOCKTEACHING (Project2)
These 2 weeks we are assigned to present
on our project 2 which is mockteaching. It
is a individual work. Madam Nirmala
already gave one skill for each. We have to
create lesson plan and teaching aids based
on the skill given and conduct the lesson in
our class. Throughout these 2 weeks i have
seen plenty of creative teaching aids which
is created by my fellow classmates. I have
gained knowledge on how to conduct a
lesson interesting and create creative
teaching aids.

MY MICROTEACHING
It's my turn to do my mockteaching for
project 2. The skill given to me in listening
skill. It was new experience for me because
this was my first time working on listening
skill. I have created physical teaching aids
and prepared the lesson plan before my
presentation. A day b
efore my presentation
lecturers changed the mockteaching from
physical to online. So i had to do some
changes in my teaching aids and lesson
plan since it is in online. Even though it was
last minute changes as a teacher we have
to be prepare for both teaching method.
