flying it can get stuck in tree sap.
Overtime the sap will harden and
turn into amber.The amber will
preserve the insects body.

Fossil Imprints

Fossil imprints form when a
plant or animal leave a trace or
trail.The trail will get preserved
when clay, silt,or dirt dries and
when other kinds of sediment
covers it up.

Sediment Fossils

Sediment fossils are formed when an
animal dies and gets covered by
sediment. Overtime more sediment
covers up the remains of the animal.
The harder parts of the body like the
bones and teeth will get encased in the
sediment. Overtime it’ll turn into a
fossil.
