WORKSHOP
KC International School organized an informative
Workshop for the teaching faculty on 6 June
2023 on 'NATIONAL CURRICULUM
FRAMEWORK. The resource person for the day
was Ms. Gurmeet Kour Gill. Teachers were
involved in *manifold brainstorming activities.*A
good number of *innovative pedagogies, like
inclusive learning, multidisciplinary courses, skill
development, and integrated curriculum were
introduced to the staff*.

Educational Tour provides a chance for the students
to experience different cultures, explore
new places, and gain practical knowledge
that they can apply in real-life situations.
Keeping this in view, KCIS organized 3 days
2 nights adventurous and exciting
educational tour to Wonderland, Science
City and Haveli for the students of classes
11th and 12th . Each moment quenched their
curiosity for knowledge and was full of
entertainment.

INVESTITURE CEREMONY
KCIS ORGANISED INVESTITURE CEREMONY 2023-24
The Investiture Ceremony of KC International School for the academic session 2023-2024
was held on June 3rd, 2023 with great pomp and splendour. The event was presided
over by the eminent Chief Guest, Sh. Vivekanand Rai, IRS, Director, Tourism Jammu,
Guest of Honour, Mr. Amit Bhasin, JKPS, SP Katra, General Secretary of KCIS, Ms. Saroj
Mahajan, Special Guest, Ms. Renu Bhasin, President of the school Mr. Chaitanya
Chowdhary, and the school Principal, Ms. Anupama Sinha. The event was conducted with
the highest degree of earnestness and passion.
The selected Council Members were conferred with badges by the dignitaries along with
the parents who were invited on the occasion to enjoy the precious moment of
witnessing their children shouldering various responsibilities.The school honoured the
meritorious students of Class 10th & 12th for their exceptional performance in AISSE &
AISSCE 2022-23. The students were conferred with trophies and scholars medals.
Everyone present over there applauded the children for their outstanding performances
and appreciated the strenuous efforts of the teaching faculty. Teachers were also
felicitated for their contribution to this grand success.

PHONETICS & COMMUNICATION SKILLS WORKSHOP FOR TEACHERS
KCIS organized an exuberant workshop on ' PHONETICS AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS' .
Mr. Harish Raina, a public speaker and trainer was the resource person. He conducted the session in an extremely vibrant and enthusiastic way.
The teachers were enlightened about the many complexities of English communication.
Workshop on New National Education Policy
KC International School organized Workshop on New National Education Policy on
11 July2023 .The main objective was to create awareness about the National
Education Policy amongst teachers and to familiarize them with the skills to help
them understand its nuances, curriculum changes, shift in the pedagogical skills
and its implementation for the 360 degree holistic development of its stake
holders, the students
OPENING CEREMONY – KCIYC 2023
In a triumphant display of collaboration and accomplishment, KC INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL orchestrated a successful
Opening ceremony for the YC showcasing the exceptional teamwork and unwavering commitment of its students. The
event moved forward with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, the flame of which symbolises the light of spirit. The
event was profusely orchestrated to serve the audience with a captivating musical rendition by the school choir, a
stellar fusion of the Ganesh Vandana and the Shiv Tandav dance styles and an electrifying guitar performance. A
dynamic, talented Alumnus of KCIS, Mr. Ridham Chhatwal, a Bollywood playback singer, actor and model, engaged the
audience with the presentation of his latest released song.
BLOOD DONATION CAMP
KCIYC - 2023
The event culminated with declaration of the
opening of the conference by the Secretary General,
Mr. Paurav Sethi, and the singing of the national
anthem. Delegates from all around J&K were then
guided to their respective committee rooms for the
Ice-Breaking session.

KC International School valedicted the
prestigious second edition of KCIYC on
23rd July 2023. There was prolific
participation of 200 students from
prominent CBSE Schools , which
sought to keep the spirit of hope alive in
the hearts of one and all. The conference
was a step towards realising the dream
of complete world peace and global
solidarity. This conference has stressed
how important it is to keep the spirit of
perseverance and courage alive.
KCIS SUPERKIDS organised a special assembly on 'Kargil
Vijay Diwas ' to remember India's war victory and to pay
tribute to Kargil Martyrs who are the symbol of courage
and sacrifice for safeguarding the borders of the country.
To pay tribute to martyrs of Kargil the Superkids danced
on patriotic songs and energized one and all. Indeed we
feel grateful to our brave-heart soldiers and salute them
for all they do.
KARGIL DIWAS CELEBRATION
A special assembly on Kargil Diwas was
conducted by the students of KCIS on
July 26,2023 to pay tribute to the
martyrs of the Indian Army .
Class ll Organized this special assembly.
The assembly was inaugurated with the
spiritual chanting of “Gayatri Mantra”
and powerful recitation of a poem and
speech. To pay tribute to martyrs the
student sang and danced on patriotic
songs.
