WHAT WOULD I DO IF GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY AS A
COVID-19 FRONTLINER?

First of all, I would like to express my humble
gratitude and appreciation to all the brave and courageous
frontliners around the world for their commitment towards
preventing this Covid-19 virus from spreading. Their fullest
obligation makes me feel in awe but at the same time I am
worried for their health and safety because they are really
risking their lives to treat infected people. Scientists around
the world are still trying their best to find the vaccine for this
deadly virus. I am really grateful because we have a group of
professionals that we can depend on.

Actually, I have never thought about this but, if
ever I was given the opportunity to serve as a Covid-19
frontliner, I would try my best to treat those people who are
infected by the virus and to help those who need to be
quarantined at home. I would try to help them to hang in
there no matter what happens. I would also support them
emotionally because I believe many of us cannot cope and
adapt with this dangerous and bizarre situation especially
those who have mental illness or facing depression. They
may feel depressed and anxious sitting at home so, I really
want to help them to go through this and I would motivate
them and help them from having suicidal thoughts.

Furthermore, I would spend my time monitoring
all the patients without feeling any bias and discontented
until they are fully recovered because I believe that every
patient has the right to live a better life. Other than that, I
would also take care of those who are not infected by Covid-
19 virus like dengue or diabetic patients to ease the burden
of other doctors. Every doctor also has their hands full with
other patients besides taking care, trying to cure and
examine all other patients admitted in the hospital. Giving
moral support to my colleagues would create a positive vibes
among the frontliners. I would love to become their pillar of
strength and the person whom they can rely on.

Besides, I would strive and put in more effort to
manage and handle difficult patients because some of
them would feel really uncomfortable to be warded in the
hospital. They gradually tend to become annoying or
irritating towards the hospital staff like doctors, nurses
and health care givers. Some of them might even try to
avoid going to the hospital to seek treatment because
they are not given the best treatment available. For some
other cases, they could not accept the fact that they are
suffering from the virus. I think, this kind of people should
be locked in a prison or jail for a while. Those people who
are reluctant to be vaccinated should also receive
punishment from the authority.

Moreover, I will help to find sponsorship for the
personal protective equipment (PPE). This equipment is
really important to the frontliners in order to protect
themselves while treating covid-19 patients. It can protect
them from being infected with the virus. It is quite limited
because once the frontliners take it off; they cannot reuse
it so they need to wear a new one daily. I would also
donate financially to buy medical equipment.

In conclusion, it must be adventurous and
challenging to have this kind of opportunity. I would try
my best to help them get over the illness and give my
heart and soul to help them. It must be difficult for all the
frontliners but, still, they are doing well. I really hope that
this chaotic situation can be erased quickly. I want all the
frontliners to be able to let out a deep sigh of relief.
Teamwork is the essence of success and I believe that
every cloud has a silver lining. For better or for worse, I
would never give up becoming a Covid-19 frontliner.

What Would I Do If Am Given the Opportunity as A COVID-
19 Frontliner?

I could be a doctor if I were given the opportunity as
a COVID-19 Frontliner. One of the reasons is that I could aid
those who are infected directly with this contagious disease.
It would also be my desire to help the government to
prevent this outbreak.

One of the tasks that I needed to do would be
detecting active cases in the community. I have to do
screening tests on the ‘red zone’ area, whereby clusters of
infected people needed medical attention. They would not
be only in the urban but as well as rural areas. Therefore, it
would be my duty to do the tests with other professional
healthcare. It needs to be done to isolate the positive and
negative patients. Besides, I would like to educate the
community by launching a personal hygiene campaign.
Hygiene is pertinent as the saying goes “Hygiene is two -
thirds of health”. For example, the proper ways of washing
one’s hands for at least 20 seconds, before and after eating
and doing work. This action would become the norm. It is
crucial as it can halt the pandemic. These could strengthen
the immunity systems among society.

Next, I would like to probe on the existing medicines
to produce vaccines to cure COVID-19 patients and
ultimately kills this fatal virus through research projects. I
would tied - up with organizations that could help me to
give inexpensive and affordable vaccines to the nation.

Lastly, I would perform my duties by giving the best
possible treatment for COVID-19 patients. I would treat
them with kindness and respect because this would also
motivates them to cure speedily.

In a nutshell, these would be a few things that I
would do if I were a COVID-19 Frontliner. I hope that these
actions could help the nation in these difficult times.

TOPIC: WHAT WOULD I DO IF I AM GIVEN THE
OPPORTUNITY AS A COVID 19 FRONTLINER?

As the country progresses with various
achievements and developments, the people in the
world were flabbergasted by a disease named Covid -19.
Doctors and nurses around the world play important
roles to treat the affected patients.

If I am given the opportunity to be a Covid -19
frontliner, I will be responsible and carry out my duty to
save the Covid -19 patients. It is because the patients
need my services and skills in order to be cured.
Eventhough it is not an easy job, however it takes
patience, hard work and time.

Apart of that, I will sincerely fulfill the
requirements of my job as a Covid-19 frontliner. I will try
my best to help my patients to recover from this
mysterious disease. Furthermore, I will treat the patients
with compassion and concern for the sufferings which
they are facing. In addition, I will take much effort to help
my people in my country. It is because life is so precious.

I was amazed by Datuk Dr Noor Hisham
Abdullah. He is an amazing doctor. He inspires me to be
humble and carry out my responsibilities diligently. We
can’t deny the fact that the Covid-19 pandemic has
affected the lives of people around the globe. Therefore,
if I am given the opportunity as a Covid -19 frontliner, I
will ensure the patients treated well and recover soon.

WHAT WOULD I DO IF GIVEN THE
OPPORTUNITY AS A COVID-19 FRONTLINER?

The outbreak of Covid-19 has created a
global health crisis that has had a deep impact
on everyone. These are the actions I would
take if I were given the opportunity as a Covid-
19 frontliner.

I would devote my time and energy to
assist those affected by this pandemic. This
would include risking my life and being
committed to providing necessary healthcare
for others.

There would also be a need for me to
volunteer to assist the doctors and other
frontliners. Helping my co-workers will
contribute to winning the battle against Covid-
19. I would advise and guide my patients,
family members and friends to take care of
their health, by washing their hands, and
wearing masks whenever they go out as these
are affective measures against this pandemic.
Perseverance with these measures will win
over the pandemic.

WHAT WOULD I DO IF GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY AS
A COVID-19 FRONTLINER?

If I were given the chance to be one of the
frontliners of COVID-19,I would do charity work like
giving to the needy and poor some groceries such as
rice, onions and other food items. I would like to
give them money for emergency use. It may not be
much but at least it could help them to ease their
financial burden. Besides, it is good to be able to
share what we have with people who are in need.

Secondly, I would like to give food to the
elderly who are living alone without their families.
Some of these elderly may not be able to go out and
buy groceries for themselves but they may still have
a desire to cook.

Thirdly, I can give advice and motivates people
who need moral support . I can use social media
such as Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and
Youtube to create awareness on how to stay positive
during the Movement Control Order ( MCO). By
applying the terms of the MCO we can fight the virus
together.

Lastly, let me end this essay with this word gap
“V_R_S”; only “I” and “U” can break the chain of this
COVID-19.

WHAT WOULD I DO IF GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY AS A
COVID-19 FRONTLINER?

The outbreak of corona virus disease,
COVID-19 has created a health hazard worldwide. In
the midst of the alarming number of infected patients
across Malaysia we can never overlook the front liners
who are risking their lives to help curb this life-
threatening disease. So, if I was given the opportunity
to be a front liner, what would I do?

If I am a doctor which is my dream I would
definitely volunteer to help in hospitals where they
lack staffs. Not forgetting giving psychological aid to
patients and their loved ones. I would work hand in
hand with the nurses and other staffs regardless of
their job who are supporting the medical team to fight
this pandemic.

In addition, as a doctor I can help keep
check on homeless people, old folks’ home and
orphanages by providing medical tips on how to take
care of themselves and check for symptoms. Providing
healthy nutritious food through sponsors for the needy
and families who have lost their source of income will
be a dream come true.

Furthermore, volunteering free services to
the police and soldiers who are the key personals in
making the MCO an effective measure to prevent this
virus from spreading. It would be an honor to give
them a hand because they are risking their lives and
mental health for us.

As a future doctor I do hope that the cure
to this pandemic disease will be discovered soon and
we all can resume to our normal lives. Last but not
least, my hopes for my beautiful country is to rise from
our mid fall due to this pandemic and grow stronger as
a nation.

WHAT WOULD I DO IF GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY
AS A COVID-19 FRONTLINER?

The Covid-19 front liners play a crucial role in
prevention and protection during the pandemic.

If I were given the opportunity as a front
liner , it would be a great honour to become a
police officer. I would provide awareness about the
killer virus among people and support them. I
would try to educate people about what they are
doing and how they protect themselves from the
deadly virus. I would make people understand the
importance of social distancing.

Apart from promoting for a safer community,
I will maintain laws and take strict action against
those who break the MCO laws .I will stop people
from gathering especially in the containment zone
and arrest criminals who take advantage of the
outbreak.

During these difficult times, if I were a police
officer I would have tried my best to help maintain
peace and harmony of the society. I would take
care of my well being and be proud and compelled
to serve my country.
