One of the milestones of DILG Laguna for the year 2022 is the construction of a two-storey building for its new Provincial Office in Barangay Bagumbayan, Santa Cruz, Laguna. The municipal government of Santa Cruz granted the usufructuary rights over the 400 square meters lot in the said barangay for the construction of the building. The Groundbreaking Ceremony held on December 27, 2022 was led by DILG IV-A Regional Director Ariel O. Iglesia, CESO III, DILG Laguna Provincial Director John M. Cerezo, and Santa Cruz Mayor Edgar S. San Luis. Also present in the activity were DILG Laguna Cluster Heads Ma. Lorilyn V. Manrique and Quennie C. Malleon, Provincial Program Manager Florabel M. The immediate construction of the building was approved by the Central Office and will start on January 2023. The project amounts to Php 11,900,000.00 and the building will include a conference room, cluster office, and dormitory rooms for DILG Laguna personnel. It is expected to be completed by July 2023 and provide a more pleasant working environment for all personnel to help increase their productivity. HIGHLIGHTS DILG LAGUNA’S NEW OFFICE
