This recipe is meaningful to me, because this is the first
meal I had with my step family the day that they moved in.After a
stressful day of moving, my Dad decided to cook spaghetti with
meat sauce, because it is easy to make and we had all of the
ingredients. We all sat around the small table and ate. It was the
first moment of a new chapter in my life. Now we have spaghetti
every Monday and it is my favorite meal of the week.We also
have spaghetti with meat sauce on special occasions.

BUTTERFLY EFFECT

The butterfly effect is somewhat like a
ripple. It is concept that small causes
can have large effects. You may have
heard of the Mandela effect, which is
similar, but these two things are very
different. The butterfly effect also plays a
part in chaos theory. It is called the
butterfly effect, because this effect
grants the power to cause a hurricane
in China to a butterfly flapping it’s wings
in New Mexico. If that butterfly didn’t
flap its wings in that exact moment in
time, then the hurricane in China never
would have happened.Another example
is if you drop a pen. If you drop a pen, it
could drastically change future events. In
a different universe if you didn’t drop
that pen, things could be very different
in that other universe. This effect says
that forecasting the future can be nearly
impossible. The effect took flight when a
meteorology professor at MIT was
entering numbers into a system. He
rounded a .506127 to .506. He was
entering data into a computer program
simulating weather patterns.While he
left his office to get coffee, he realized
that tiny change could drastically change
the whole pattern the program
produced. This effect has a lot to do
with weather. One little thing can
change the weather drastically.The
Mandela effect is closely related to it.
This effect is when everyone believes
one thing, but it is not actually true. The
most common example is the
Berenstain Bears. Many people
remember it being spelled “Berenstein
Bears”. Crazy right?

Narrative

NO NAMES

When I was 2 years old my grandfather
was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. I never
really got to know him, but I still cared
about him just as much. One fall
afternoon my grandma, grandpa, and I
were raking leaves. My grandma and I
went inside to get water, and when we
came back outside he was on the ground.
A white car stopped outside of the
house and jumped out and gave him CPR.
They were total strangers and we had
never seen them before.As the
ambulance arrived, the two men got lost
in the commotion. No names. We never
got to ask them their names or say thank
you.Those two men saved my
grandfather's life, and I don’t even know
their names.

LOGAN PAUL

It was a normal day in reading
and people were sharing
something that makes their
day. Ms.Anderson called on
someone who mentioned
meeting someone named
Logan Paul. Right as he
mentioned that name, there
was one girl who jumped out
of her seat and began
screaming,“OH MY GOD
YOU DID WHAT?! I LOVE
LOGAN PAUL!” Everyone in
the class was shocked and
about had a heart attack. I
talked to her after class, and
she told me that she didn’t
think that it was that loud.
She then went on to tell me
all about this person named
Logan Paul, who I did not
know about.Turns out, he is a
famous YouTuber who
happened to be in Kansas this
past weekend. From now on,
everyone in this class will be
at least a little bit scared of
her. She also told me that she
watches Peppa Pig every
night.
