Highlights of the month !!!

▪ Farewell for Grade 10 was hosted on Friday,
the 7th.

▪ Road run was conducted on Saturday, the 29th.
▪ ICSE Board Examination is in progress.
▪ Various class activities were conducted.

“Recognize that every interaction you have is an opportunity to make
positive impact on others.”

This above quote was rightly reflected by the interactive session between
the alumni students and our outgoing Grade 10 students of the 2019-20
batch. The alumni students present were – Anjana B.S, Srinidhi
Madyalkar, Shreya, Aditi Shetty, Shivanshu and Rahul S.
There were numerous points discussed in the session at length. Different
streams which can be chosen post tenth grade and different career goals
based on the stream chosen, being a few to mention.
Shrinidhi Madyalkar emphasized that usage of social media is a major
cause of distraction and needs to be stopped at least a month before the
final examination. He also highlighted that preparation for the board
examination has to be planned by giving equal importance to all the
subjects. Anjana B.S motivated the students with her speech and gave some
tips to reduce the anxiety and stress before the boards. Rahul S. - Head
Boy [2018-19] stressed in his speech of completing one entire set of
revision of all the subjects in the next 20 days. Aditi Shetty, Head Girl
[2018-19] shared her thoughts and conveyed her wishes through a poem
that really inspired all our outgoing students.
Thus, the session definitely had motivated all to work harder, set a realistic
revision timetable and achieve their dream goals.

LA STELLA Farewell Celebration…

A farewell program for the outgoing students of 2019-20 batch was
organized by the students of Grade 9 - (ICSE and State board) along with
their teachers on Friday, 7th February 2020, in the lawn area of Daffodils

memorable one, evoking the blessing of goddess of knowledge to have
successful academic results and career growth.
This was followed by the distribution of Prasadam by the teachers to
everyone present for the event.
The Grade 10 students along with their parents were welcomed by their
class teachers and their current house mistresses. An invocation song and
dance by the grade 9 students to seek the blessings of lord Ganesha was
the perfect way to start the farewell celebrations. This was followed by a
welcome speech by Manasa of Grade 9. The entire event comprised of a
series of cultural programs namely fusion dance, devotional songs, band
performance and a beat boxing session by Grade 9 students.

State Board respectively, gave an impressive speech by sharing all their
memories attached with the school.

thank you note to all the teachers for moulding their children to prepare
for facing life’s challenges. They wished all the student’s good luck for the
forthcoming board examinations. Mrs Roopa Gore, through her speech
took all the outgoing students down memory lane. She shared some of the
interesting and funny incidents that had happened when our outgoing
student had just begun their school journey as tiny tots. Grade 10 class
teachers namely Ms. Supriya Kashyap, Ms. Bhuvaneshwari, Ms Kalpana
Saralaya and Ms Neeta Janardha gave a motivational speech which
emphasized that each student has a hidden talent which needs to be
discovered and worked upon in order to have a bright future.
Mementos were distributed to all the outgoing students by the Principal
and Headmaster. A candle lighting ceremony for the outgoing student took
place on the main stage. This ceremony is a symbol of hope and prayer
where the students came onto the stage one by one and seek the blessing
