Class – KG II
Importance of CCA
Teaching need not be limited to textbooks and
blackboard. Our fun school activities for kids make
learning in school become interesting and an enjoyable
exercise .
Classroom newsletter
To keep parents informed and students involved we have Classroom
Newsletters.
Kindly be informed that each class is assigned a particular month to
showcase glimpses of CCA and other events which would materialize
through that month.
Photographs of that respective class presenting the Newsletter will
be seen in abundance.
Requesting eager parents of other sections to wait patiently for their
child’s photographs to be seen in times to come !
Irrespective of any given section’s Newsletter. You can rest be
assured that all the activities showcased is on par with the rest of
the other sections involved.
Know your campus
The month of July started with the activity know your campus. The campus life in Daffodils is vibrant and
rich in knowledge. The children were all excited to take a walk around the school. They visited the
following places-
• Principal’s chamber-children were taken to the principal’s chamber and they were introduced to her.
• School library- The children were amazed, to see the library ,the number of books there ,and children
experienced silence .They were happy to know they would be able to visit the library on a regular basis in
the future.
• Medical bay- In the medical bay children met Mrs.Veena who was attending to the injured student .They
had a look at our well equipped nursing station.
• Staff room-The children met few of our senior and middle school teachers who were busy doing their
work.
• Playground- The children had a walk around the playground and enjoyed playtime.
• Washroom –The kids ended their visit at the washroom for a hand wash to continue with their daily
routine.
International Tiger Day
GLOBALLY IMPORTANT DAY OF THE MONTH
International Tiger’s Day
This is an annual celebration to raise awareness for tiger
conservation, held annually on 29th July . It was created in 2010
at the Saint Petersburg Tiger Summit.
During morning assembly children learnt various facts about
the tiger. Everyday a new piece of information about tigers was
shared by the teachers .

Vowel activity
For enrichment of vocabulary an activity was conducted
on vowel ‘a’ (ap, at).
Three letter words were written on every petal of a
flower.
Children were encouraged to write their own words,
which they were very excited about.

Super Minute
Last but not the least was ‘Super Minute’. A fun activity where children
were made to pick the thermocol balls with the help of a straw placed
in their mouth .Then they had to transfer it from one container into
another container within a time frame of 1 minute.
The student who accumulated the maximum number of thermocol
balls was declared the winner.
Inter- School
Competition
Selected Participants from KG II were taken to Poorna Pragna School
for an Inter-School Competition – “ Chinnara Loka”.Around twenty
other schools participated in the same. There were around 450 -500
kindergarteners in all.
The children participated in various activities like, Memory Game, Free
hand drawing, Colouring, Puzzles and Clay Modelling.
All the children received a participation certificate.
