Pasadena Community Relief Effort

Your Pasadena Chamber has been proactively engaging with retailers, senior living facilities and non-profit
organizations in order to understand what needs currently exist within our community and building a platform
that will allow us to more readily connect community needs with available resources while also observing CDC
guidelines for safety and social distancing.

We know that Pasadena shows up in times of need and we are committed to connecting our community together during this
difficult time. This page is for those organizations who need supplies, volunteers or financial assistance, as well as those who are
willing to donate supplies, financial assistance or act as a volunteer.

HOW THIS WORKS:

MY ORGANIZATION HAS A NEED:
If your organization has a need, please fill out the form by CLICKING HERE. Once we receive your form, we will work to match
you with someone who has the means to fill your organizations need(s). We will then be in direct contact with you to get your
need(s) met as soon as possible. Please fill out the form in its entirety so that we can accurately match your need(s).

I CAN HELP:
If you have the means to donate supplies or financial assistance, or want to volunteer, please fill out the form by CLICKING
HERE. There are certain items in the form that you can “check off” if you have the means to donate those items. We will keep
this list updated each day to ensure its accuracy. Once we receive your form, we will match you with someone and contact
you directly with instructions on how to deliver your items to your match.

We also understand that there is a large demand for assistance in our community and are coordinating with all of our non-
profits, churches and others that are hosting their own collections and distribution points that desire to serve during this time.
Collectively we will be able to meet the needs for Pasadena. #connectingyourcommunity #keeppasadenastrong

Coronavirus Best Practices for Small Businesses”
The US Chamber of Commerce recently put out a “Coronavirus Best Practices for Small Businesses” that will allow you
to manage the situation for your employees and customers.
Some key items included in this guide are how to prioritize critical operations, proper cleaning procedures in the
workplace, procedures for sick employees, teleworking policies, employee communication, and much more.

How to Track & Contain COVID-19 Cases in the Workplace; Advice for Employers
As the state and local economy continues to reopen, Houston-area businesses are rightly concerned about
protecting the health of their employees and customers as the COVID-19 pandemic continues.
But what are the protocols when it comes to tracking cases of the virus in the workplace and what are
the parameters of an employer’s actions? The Partnership has developed a comprehensive document
to guide companies on these protocols. Managing Covid-19 Cases in the Workplace, outlines the steps
recommended for managing confirmed or suspected cases:
1. Identify a confirmed or suspected case of Covid-19. This is done either by identifying symptoms during

screening, employees self-reporting their symptoms or an employee receiving a positive test for
Covid-19.
2. Isolate or quarantine the identified employee until it is safe to go home, or send the employee home.
Have the employee isolate for at least 14 days.
3. Investigate whom the employee had close contact with at least 48 hours prior to having symptoms. The
contacts employers should consider could involve third-party vendors or contractors as well as other
employees.
4. Inform the employees or others who had close contact with the suspected or confirmed coronavirus
case at the workplace, but do not disclose who the employee is.
