Taste of the Town a HUGE Success

On November 4th, 2021, the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce hosted its 32nd annual Taste of the Town,
this year sporting a “superhero” theme. Along with over 30 food vendors, 25 business expo and shopping
vendors, the night was full of fun for all ages. Our famous live auction showcased 32 items up for bid,
including sporting tickets, date nights, weekend getaways, kids packages, and even a trip to the Master’s.
Those not participating in the auction were able to head outside to listen to live music from Houston’s own,
The Slags.

Taking the event both indoors and outdoors for the first time ever, we knew we’d be gambling with a
chance of rain. But the good Lord was on our side that night as He cleared the skies and provided us with
some cooler temperatures and whole lot of fun!

The night’s big winners included: Best American: Sam Rayburn & Pasadena Memorial High School Culinary
Departments, Best Latin: Casa Ole Deer Park, Best Specialty: HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast
Best Casual Dining: Chick-fil-a, Best Beverage: Texas Snowbirds, Best Dessert: Sam Rayburn & Pasadena
Memorial High School Culinary Departments, Best Decorated Booth: HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast,
and the People’s Choice Award: Sam Rayburn & Pasadena Memorial High School Culinary Departments.

The Pasadena Chamber of Commerce extends a SUPER BIG thank you to all of our sponsors, participating
food and beverage establishments, vendors, volunteers, auction buyers and guests! See you in 2022!
