no mistake, we have a great staff, but there are not

My mother believed volunteering made our local I leave you with two other deep thoughts about

We Help Industrial Leaders Use Data To
Drive Reliability For Less

Making the World Reliable, One Customer at a Time
We do this by helping complex process facilities such as refineries, chemical plants, mining facilities, and water treatment
plants use their data to make confident and strategic reliability decisions. Our data-driven reliability framework, harnesses
the power of traditionally siloed data and multiple reliability models to make sure facilities are not only collecting data
but collecting the RIGHT data. We believe being the intersection of reliability, data management and science, and
industrial facilities is crucial to truly bringing differentiated and full solution value to our industrial customers.

We believe that data is the key to a healthy program from start to finish. The key to improvement is having the correct
data and knowing when to leverage it. Our framework utilizes multiple models that combine traditional reliability
methods with data science and engineering to breakdown silos in data and create better insights. We pride ourselves on
working with the most asset complex companies in the world and being able to bring a breadth and depth of expertise
and horsepower to them that makes a true impact in their business.

CRA, Inc. (Woman Owned and Operated)

We Measure the World From Many Perspectives
CRA, a Texas Corporation, is a hydrographic surveying firm
using the latest automated data acquisition systems. We were
established in Houston in 1986 by a team consisting predominantly
of land and offshore surveyors who had spent several years
working in the oil industry, developing and using computer-based
radio positioning and satellite positioning systems. CRA was
formed to work in the civil engineering sector in coastal areas and
inland waterways and to bring the same level of technology to
this market.

CRA is now one of the more established hydrographic survey contractors in the USA with our own vessels ready with
equipment installed onboard to mobilize immediately. In addition to regularly working for clients throughout the USA, we
survey most of the private docks on the Houston Ship Channel, as well many other docks along the Texas coast in the
ports of Freeport, Texas City, Beaumont/Port Arthur/Orange, and Corpus Christi. Over the years, CRA has also added a
number of techniques and disciplines to better serve our clients. These include the new multibeam swath bathymetry
systems, underwater sediment sampling, and now, underwater facilities inspection using high resolution acoustic sonars.

State of the City

“You should always give back to the community who is loyal and has always supported you.” This is the mantra
that 2022 Business of the Year, Bayway Auto Group, lives by. In a sold out room of over 700 guests, Darryl and Linda
Wischnewsky humbly accepted their award and reiterated the importance of building strong relationships with their
customers and community. To hear the many reasons why Bayway Auto Group was named this years Business of the
Year, we invite you to CLICK HERE to view the award presentation from our State of the City event.

Surprise Guest: Before giving his annual address on February 17, Pasadena Mayor Jeff Wagner surprised the audience
with an intro from Michael Berry, (pictured below left) a nationally syndicated talk show host. Berry briefly addressed
the audience and praised Wagner’s leadership within the city, especially the decrease in violent crimes over the past
two years. He also gave special praise to city council members and our amazing first responders.

“You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet!” During his annual address, Mayor Wagner spoke on the wonderful effects Pasadena
has when we put together the right team. He spoke on the importance of partnerships with industry, businesses,
healthcare, community and educational institutions, and how those partnerships help Pasadena thrive.

Wagner also reiterated his stance on public safety being his first priority. “More officers on the streets make a huge
difference!” In a heartfelt testiomy to Frank Bengochea, former Emergency Management Coordinator for the city, he
boasted on Bengocheas efforts to secure grants for his vision of a newly updated Emergency Management Center.
After Bengochea’s passing, the city received those grants and were able to fulfill his vision with updated equipment,

digital screens, and even a drone that helps out during chemical
emergencies.

Wagner spoke on the revitalization of Pasadena, including updated
parks, walking trails, sports equipment, and a lot more. To view Mayor
Wagner’s full State of the City address, CLICK HERE.

Platinum Sponsor: We want to thank Chevron Pasadena Refinery for
their commitment of being the Platinum Sponsor for the third year
in a row at State of the City. As Tim Sutherland, General Manager,
took the stage to give sponsor remarks, he shared his experience as a
Pasadena Chamber member and gave a wonderful testimony. We

Celebrate
Our

Non-Profit
Organizations

Attend The April Membership Luncheon

Did you know that there are over 1.8 million active non-profit organizations in the United States? Our Pasadena

Chamber alone has close to 50 non-profit members who are providing educational, health, and social services that our
community needs.

Non-profits also strengthen communities in other important ways and are frequently the voice of the people they
serve. Thanks to the combination of strong community relationships and intimate local knowledge, these organizations
often understand better than anyone else their communities’ needs and the best ways to meet them. But, in an era of
growing needs and shrinking resources, non-profits are being asked to do even more with less, placing additional strain
on their already limited resources.

For these reasons, and so many others, we will be celebrating
our non-profit organizations at our upcoming Membership
Luncheon on April 21st at Texas Chiropractic College. As part
of the event, we will honor and celebrate our 2022 Non-Profit
of the Year, CT Church Pasadena. Also around the room, you
will have the chance to visit with many of our local non-profit
organizations who will have booths and information handy to
share with our guests.

If you still need another reason to come to this event, we
are excited to present our keynote speaker, Bruce Hamilton,
who will be doing his “No Bad Days” presentation during our
luncheon. Bruce believes that if you allow yourself to have a
bad day, YOU LOSE! “No Bad Days will energize and inspire! It
is like adding a bolt of lightning to your world! Bruce’s energy
is contagious, his performance is wonderful, and the after
effect is long lasting. Its all about focus and attitude! Focus on
what we can do not what we can’t do. Focus on what’s right
not on what’s wrong! If you want to be happy then you have
to act happy! Encouraging others on how to reset their inner
GPS systems for true north, clarity of thought and cancellation
of confusion ! It is called the advantage of attitude. If you are
going to amaze people then you have to be AMAZING!”

We are excited to host Bruce and our Non-Profit Organizations
and invite you to join us by CLICKING HERE to register. Seating
is limited so get your tickets today! Thank you to our Platinum

Spear Building Group Products Featured at Buc-ee’s

Written By: Connie Gonzalez, Vice President, Spear Building Group

Staying flexible and open to new possibilities
can lead to great things, as can hard work and
determination. Our high-end cutting board line with
Buc-ee’s is certainly something we did not plan.
You can plan for a certain future and end up in a totally different place. In our
case, SBG started off as a Veteran Enterprise and branched out into home
remodeling and restoration, stone work, roofing, janitorial services, and our
latest additions SBG Design and SBG Home.

We came up with the idea of Texas shaped stone cutting boards and thought
it would be great to sell them to all Texans, and what better way than to
partner up with Buc-ee’s, the State-wide favorite road trip stop. Because let’s
be honest, is a road trip really a road trip if you aren’t stopping at
Buc-ee’s? Getting such a big company to review our product was not easy.
The whole process took a little over a year, but the excitement when we finally
got an email requesting samples was surreal! Visiting the Buc-ee’s corporate
office was amazing, all the staff was friendly and welcoming. After dropping
off samples, we waited a few weeks and then got the call that changed
it all! Getting this opportunity to work with all Texas Buc-ee’s was a great
accomplishment in itself, and we never dreamed we would be expanding
state wide. We now produce inventory for not only Texas, but
also Florida, Georgia and Alabama, and soon joining forces with
Kentucky, Tennessee, and South Carolina!

A little about our products: Everything is Texas made. Our granite Uncomplicated Banking.
and quartz cutting boards come in different state shapes and are
a favorite for anyone who has state pride! We also offer a Lazy
Susan edition and a standard rectangle shape. Let’s not forget our
Texas mini’s that make taking a little part of Texas home with you
possible! Our boards are a staple in any home and are built strong
to outlast generations of memories. It is our hope that these boards
will be passed down along with the warm stories of memorable
family gatherings. This endeavor has grown at a faster rate than
we expected. When we started, everything was hand made
and still is, but we have added a CNC machine to help increase
our productivity. This also gives us the opportunity to offer new
products to our SBG Home line. We are excited for what is to come
and grateful for this new partnership, as it provides us the tools to
create more job opportunities for Americans.
