Landscapes of the Canary Islands
The Canary Islands are a particular gem; four of Spain’s seven major national nature reserves are located among this volcanic
archipelago – the volcanic crater of Mount Teide on Tenerife and Lanzarote’s Timanfaya National Park being just two.
Cruises to the Canary's sunny climate are a big hit with sunbathers and swimmers, who relish its volcanic red, black and white sand
beaches. With its 3,000 hours of sunshine a year, this is the perfect place to enjoy the rays and top up a tan especially when taking into
account its excellent beaches.
With tranquil harbours, verdant palm groves and an excellent climate its no wonder why the Islands are a firm favourite of P&O Cruises

UK COACH TOURS
Mandy Jones We have been running coach trips from the Travel House Ammanford for several years now and every
year they are proving more popular with our customers. The idea to run day trips from our branch
Branch Manager came after several West End shows came to Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff. We noticed that
Travel House, Ammanford customers were coming in store and to ask about any coach companies that would provide inclusive
trips to Cardiff to watch these shows. After doing some research, we found that there were no other
Experience: 15 years companies that could offer a pick-up in Ammanford, meaning our customers would have to travel to
Tel: 01269 591591 either Swansea or Llanelli in order to join a coach. This proved quite inconvenient for our customers
Email: [email protected] as even if they were able to get to these locations to join the coach, limited public transport meant
that they would not be able to get back. Therefore, we decided to trial a coach trip ourselves.
Visit travelhouse.co.uk and choose “Meet the
team” to see more of our holiday specialists Our first trip was to see Dirty Dancing the Musical in Cardiff and it turned out to be a huge success.
Since then, we have continued to arrange trips to see on average 2 or 3 shows per year. We have
developed our product range to now include shopping trips, Christmas markets and coach transfers
for pop concerts. Over the next year, I am hoping to develop this further and provide overnight breaks
to offer more variety on our trips.
Our trips are all fully escorted by one of our staff members ensuring a smooth day out for all. We know
our customers want a relaxing day when they board our coach, so having a staff member on hand
ensures that everyone has the correct information about coach stops and journey times given to
them – plus having a contact on hand to call if they are running late or lost also is a big advantage.

me it means Christmas has officially arrived! Myself and the ladies in my family usually
go as a girly shopping trip treat. The staff in the Travel House make it so easy to book
and it’s always well organised. The staff that come along make every trip a memorable
