Ayam dan Kaki Seribu berteman. Namun, mereka selalu bersaing dengan satu sama lain. Suatu hari mereka memutuskan bermain sepak bola untuk mengetahui siapakah pemain terbaik. 2/13
Mereka pergi ke lapangan sepak bola dan mulai bermain. Ayam berlari dengan kencang, tapi Kaki Seribu lebih kencang. Tendangan Ayam jauh, tapi tendangan Kaki Seribu lebih jauh. Ayam mulai geram. 3/13
Mereka memutuskan untuk melakukan adu penalti. Yang pertama, Kaki Seribulah penjaga gawangnya. Ayam hanya mencetak satu gol. Lalu, giliran Ayam untuk menjaga gawang. 4/13
Kaki Seribu menendang bola dan mencetak gol. Kaki Seribu menggiring bola dan mencetak gol. Kaki Seribu menyundul bola dan mencetak gol. Kaki Seribu mencetak lima gol! 5/13
Ayam murka ia kalah. Ia tidak bisa menerima kekalahan dengan mudah. Kaki Seribu mulai tertawa karena temannya marahmarah. 6/13
Ayam begitu marah hingga membuka paruhnya dan menelan Kaki Seribu. 7/13
Saat Ayam berjalan pulang, ia berpapasan dengan Ibu Kaki Seribu. Ibu Kaki Seribu bertanya, “Apakah kamu melihat anakku?” Ayam tidak menjawab. Ibu Kaki Seribu cemas. 8/13
Lalu, Ibu Kaki Seribu mendengar suara lirih. “Tolong aku, Bu!” seru suara itu. Ibu Kaki Seribu menengok ke sekeliling dan mendengarkan dengan seksama. Suaranya berasal dari dalam perut si Ayam. 9/13
Ibu Kaki Seribu berteriak, “Gunakan kemampuan istimewamu, Nak!” Kaki Seribu bisa mengeluarkan bau busuk dan rasa yang menjijikkan. Ayam mulai merasa mual. 10/13
Ayam bersendawa. Ia meneguk dan meludah kemudian bersin dan batuk. Ia terbatuk-batuk lagi dan lagi. Kaki Seribu rasanya menjijikkan! 11/13
Ayam terbatuk-batuk hingga batuknya mendorong Kaki Seribu keluar. Ibu Kaki Seribu dan anaknya segera merayap ke atas pohon untuk bersembunyi. 12/13
Sejak saat itu, semua ayam dan kaki seribu bermusuhan. 13/13
