Students who do write a research thesis on the electromagnetic spectrum look for experts who can write my paper.

Insights on Different Spectrums of Light

The electromagnetic spectrum of light comprises the different frequencies and the respective
photons they emit during radiation. The wavelength of this spectrum ranges from thousands of
kilometres to smaller than the size of an atom. Students who do write a research thesis on the
electromagnetic spectrum look for experts who can write my paper.

Discovery Of The Electromagnetic Spectrum

For a long time, it was believed that light visible to humans was the only component of the
electromagnetic spectrum. Light-based experiments by scientists led to the discovery of different
electromagnetic spectrums. As of now, there are more than six different electromagnetic spectrums
that can be classified based on their wavelengths.
Here are the following classifications of the electromagnetic spectrum based on their frequency

• Gamma Radiation: This spectrum is generated during the radioactive decay of the atom's
nucleus. They have the shortest frequency among various spectrums of light. The natural
gamma radiation source forms the radiations obtained from cosmic ray particles. The
ionizing radiation of gamma rays can be artificially obtained on a large scale during nuclear
fission explosions. Due to their ionizing penetrating nature, they are widely used in
spectroscopy

• X-Ray: They are another penetrating form of electromagnetic radiation; they have a longer
wavelength than gamma rays. X rays are most used in medical tests. When the human body
is exposed to x-ray, different tissues and organs absorb x-ray with varied intensity. The
calcium absorbs the highest amount of x-ray because of which x-ray are most used to study
the skeletal system of the patients.

• Ultraviolet Radiation: They are non-ionizing radiation emitted by astronomical bodies such
as the sun. The Earth's ozone layer absorbs most of the UV radiation emitted by the sun.

• Visible Light: This is the spectrum that is visible by human light; when this light passes
through optical apparatus such as a prism, we can witness the different spectrums of visible
light based on their frequency

• Infrared Light: This light spectrum has a larger wavelength than visible light. It is mostly
used in thermal imaging and developing night vision equipment.

• Microwave radiation: Microwaves are those waves in the electromagnetic spectrum which
have a higher wavelength than infrared waves but are shorter than radio waves. They are
mostly used in cooking appliances and communication.

• Radio Waves: This type of electromagnetic spectrum has the largest wavelength. This wave
travels at the speed of light and can transmit information over large distances. They
comprise charged particles that, when energized, travel to large distances. For effective
communication, the transmitter and receiver should have a similar frequency. When radio
waves travel in a vacuum, they travel with the speed of light, and when they travel through a
medium, they slow down, due to which they are used for space communications.

Students in Canada who study the electromagnetic spectrum often get confused about the various
topics. When they must complete their academic projects, they look to pay someone to write my
