from a facility specifically designed to fulfill
this function and elevate the movement of
staff at the existing location. The building will

PROPOSED GSE WORKSHOP
The EASG Ground Support
Equipment Maintenance
Workshop facilities have to be
adjusted mainly by the following
causes:
1. A new fleet management
function is demanding a new
workshop concept and layout,
including special workplaces for
dedicated vehicles.
2. An additional forward
workshop close to new midfield
terminal is necessary to provide
support to ground handling
equipment which is operating in
this new area.
3. An upgrade of the
existing outdated facilities,
originally built in the late 1970’s,
to fix the existing significant
health, safety, occupational and
environmental shortcomings as
well as deficiencies in electrical
safety, fire safety, oil storage
and oil handling, heavy GSE
lifting, soil contamination, water
contamination, manual handling
and waste management.
My contribution on this project
involves development of the
workshop design,site visit
gathering the list of existing
equipments and space
information,lplanning criteria,
functinality and space allocation.
