Definition

power derived from the utilization of physical or chemical resources,
especially to provide light and heat or to work machines. Specific heat, also
called specific heat capacity, is defined as the amount of energy that has to
be transferred to or from one unit of mass (kilogram) or amount of
substance (mole) to change the system temperature by one degree.

energy

energy is the physical system to perform work or any
other movements. the kinds of energy’s are heat, kinetic,
mechanical,light,potential,electricity or other forms.

Sound energy

Sound energy is a form of energy that is associated with vibrations of
matter. It is a type of mechanical wave which means it requires an object to
travel through. This object includes air and water. Sound originates from the
vibrations that result after an object applies a force to another object.

Solar energy

Solar energy is radiant light and heat from the Sun harnessed using a range
of ever-evolving technologies such as solar heating, photovoltaics, solar
thermal energy, solar architecture and artificial photosynthesis.

Usage of Solar Energy

As we have read previously solar energy is
radiant light and heat from the sun which is
used in multiple ways. But, it’s commonly
used in American homes as an alternative
energy source which basically absorbs the
sun’s energy and converts it into electricity.
This is also considered to be cheaper, but a
common misconception is that the amount of
sunlight determines the amount of electricity
generated. But, when the sun is not in direct
reach there is energy already stored into
batteries that is regulated for use through
inverters.

Example

Examples of these are: light energy, heat energy, mechanical energy,
gravitational energy, electrical energy, sound energy, chemical energy,

nuclear or atomic energy and so on. These forms of energy can be
transferred and transformed between one another. This is of immense

benefit to us.

Energy Usage in
Your Home

Energy is also used in the form of electricity. If you live in a
perfectly average household in America the monthly electric bill
will be about 911 kilowatt hours on average which could cost
$114. Depending on the state you live in and whether it is hot
or cold, urban or rural, an average can only use as little as 506
kwh a month which would be the case in Hawaii or maybe
even as much as 1,291 kwh which is the average in Louisiana.
Even though Hawaiians, use the least energy the pay the most
for the use of electricity they pay on average $188 a month and
the average cost a month in New Mexico is $78 a month

which is the least.
